    I purchased my furniture set from the Company Home Rooms or Broy Inc, on 7/28/2022. I also purchased the Montage 5 year Protection plan at the same time at the cost of 149.00. I completely paid off the furniture on time. In December of 2023, I called Home Rooms or Broy Inc. to make a claim for the furniture warranty. I was told at this time to " take pictures of the repairs you need on your furniture, and send a email to us at Home Rooms, and we will send the request on to Montage" I asked specifically if there was a phone number or a way I could contact Montage myself. Again I was told that 'we only communicate with Montage by email, and you will just have to wait for them to contact you" I did not received a call anytime in December of 2023. I called again in January of 2024, February and March of 2024. I was told each time that I would need to wait for Montage to call me. I went into the store on April 23, 24. I talked to one of the staff about the situation, and reported Montage had not called me. I was told by this staff employee that ' you should have been calling them, I stated ' I was told by both of the staff I had spoken to at this store that I needed to wait for Montage to call me' I was then provided with a number and I had to call Montage myself. It looks like my email was never sent in December of 2023. The Montage customer service person stated ' oh we don't call you we would have emailed you" I am very disappointed with the lack of care and incorrect information I was given by the staff or owners of Home Rooms/ Broy Inc. I will be hesitant to buy anything from a new business again. The previous owners of Home Rooms had provided great service for years in Wyandotte County. I feel like I was not valued as a customer and disregarded as a person. The staff at Home Rooms/ Broy Inc. did not apologize for giving me the wrong information, and seemed to be annoyed with me for asking to have my warranty honored.
