    ***** installed a new pump that has a 1 year warranty & in less than 4 months the pump was not working. It's been over 6 weeks of vague text responses that they will come & fix the issue but they never end up coming.

    **** ***** was paid in cash by ****** $710 to order a part for my hot tub. She has made excuse after excuse of why she can’t get to my house to replace the part. And now she won’t respond to my texts or calls. She claims her phone is acting up. I just want the part that I paid for put in. Or she can just give me the part and I can get someone else to install it.

    I need to file a police report since she has taken my money and not completed the work.  Have you sent a letter to her?  Do you know her address?  This process is not clear. I would appreciate to have what information you have on ***** ******

    On May 8, 2024, I paid "****" from KC Hot Tub Repair $642.77 to buy a new motor that he said I needed when our spa developed a leak. Oddly, he wanted the check to be made out to "******* *****", not KC Hot Tub Repair. Over the last 20 days he has said he was coming to finish the job but has always had an excuse to not show up. Now he is not returning texts. He had done work for me previously, so I told him I was concerned but I trusted him. I am now very concerned, having seen here on BBB that he has evidently done this same thing to multiple people. I just want him to finish the job, but it looks like I have been ripped off like many others.

    ****, with KC Hot Tub Repair, took $600 to buy a replacement pump for my hot tub in January 2023. He texted me excuse after excuse for not returning to finish the job. Two months later I had to hire someone else to replace the pump and I'm out $600 for a pump I never received and a repair that was never completed.

    **** ****** with KC Hot Tub came to my house January 9th and gave me a bid on the repair of my hot tub. Stated I needed a new pump. I have done business with him in the past and had no problems. He said he could order the new pump, but I would have to pay for the materials upfront, which is pretty customary. So I paid him for his standard charge to come out and assess the hot tub and I paid for the pump. He said he would be out the following Friday to install it. He then called a few days later and said he had found a hot tub cover for me 100 bucks if I wanted it so I said sure and I paid for that. As of this date the work has not been done. I have several texts which state that he will be out but he has not come out to do the work. It’s been over a month and he will not respond to any texts at this time. I have asked for a refund and have not received any refund as of this date.

    My son’s name is *****. He is 22 years old and has Angelman Syndrome. On 1/27/23, I gave $500 cash of my son’s money to **** ****** of KC Hot Tub Repair to replace a part on 1/31/23. Since then, we’ve lost contact with Mr. ******. My son’s hot tub is still not fixed, his muscles are beginning to atrophy and he is out $500.00 of his very limited fixed income.
    I’ve contacted the Gladstone Police Department (#*******), the Missouri Attorney General’s office and I’ve filed with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services citing financial exploitation of the developmentally disabled and the Social Security Administration. The hot tub is sounding worse and I’m afraid if I turn it off, the pipes will freeze. It will take several more months for us to save up another $500.00. The bathtub is much too small to do therapies and right now, we do not have a vehicle to safely transport ***** to a pool, where therapies could resume.

    September 2nd 2022, **** ***** (KC Hot Tub Repair) diagnosed my hot tub issue and requested just under $1,000 to order parts that would take a week to get. She made excuse after excuse over the next 6 weeks as to why she hasn't been back to fix the problem. She is now not returning calls or texts and my hot tub is still not fixed. I requested a refund and there is no communication. Apparently this has been a recurring issue with her as **** reviews state. There has been a *** * cover story on it, and other hot tub repair vendors sounded none-to surprised that this happened to me as they have many stories of her doing this to people.

    Sept 1. **** ****** was called to fix our hot tub. He had fixed it 2 times in last 3 years. I gave him 700 in cash and took a picture of cash and his hands with the work invoice. He had to order a pump but I haven’t seen him since. He has responded to my text a couple of times but says he will be in the area. He also said he has bad cell service. I called again today and called the number for kc hot tub repair and talked to *****. She game me his name and said that he has done this to several people. I want to recover my money and will have someone else fix the hot tub.

    ******* ******, using the name of ******* ****** on the receipt, delivered a Master Spa to my house on 8/23. Per the receipt and ******* himself, the spa was said to be fully functional. I finally found an electrician to wire it up so I tried to fill it yesterday, 10/5. It does not hold water. The manifold is cracked. I have tried calling and texting and get no response.
