    They have been harassing me going against my contract to own the home. I paid it off in 2021 then in September of 2023 they said we owed a balloon payment and put me onto monthly payments again. then last month or so they are stating we owe the payment again which we initially did not have in beginning signing the contract and now the manager has locked ways for me to make my payment online and now I'm going to be charged a late fee because she won't accept my payment.

    Hello, *** *****

    I have reviewed your account and corresponding lease paperwork.  You are correct that your original Lease with Option to Purchase expired in 2021.  At that time, you had the right to exercise the option to purchase at a predetermined amount.  For the last 30 months, since the expiration of your contract, you have continued to make the same monthly payment.  As such, we will apply the same portion of each payment towards the purchase of the home.  Following your April 2024 payment, the amount outstanding is $717.41.  Given your long history of  exemplary tenancy, we would be happy to sign over title to the home to you pending execution of a three year lot lease at current market rent allowing for annual increases.
