      The bank is allowing a change from ***** * ******* *** ***** to be taken from my fathers account. He has asked them to stop this. His wife had dementia and some how took insurance out on a car they do not own. In researching this on line we found there are many reports this is a fraudulent company. We have been trying since may to have this blocked but the bank continues to allow charges. This is also another charge that keeps coming out from her health insurance. We sent them information on her passing and they still take it out of the account. We asked that is also be stopped back in May when they continued to take it out after being notified. Both of these charges should have been stopped/blocked when www asked and the bank does not see to care nor want to help resolve. the "**** * ******* *** ***** has no contact info from the transaction so we have no way to call, that should have been a red flag to the bank!! Internet sheath show many people with the same charge but their bank seem to be able to block and refund the money. Citizens bank does not seem to be willing to take this matter seriously.

      Our customer, **** ******* came to the bank on May 15, 2023 and signed a stop payment request for **** * ******* *** ******* in the amount of $111.03.  On May 26, 2023, the payment was presented in the amount of $111.00, and payment was not stopped due to the difference of amount.  The payment was presented again on June 27, 2023 for the same amount and was also paid.  

      We spoke with ***** ****** on July 10, 2023 to confirm details of the payment.  *** ****** indicated that he had not filed an error claim for this payment.  The bank agreed to refund a total of $232.00 to the account for this error, and credit was made on July 10, 2023.

      ***** ****** stated that he contacted *********** **** ********* regarding the payment also mentioned in his complaint. A stop payment was placed on this payment on May 26, 2023 in the amount of $190.42.  The payment has not been deducted from the account since May 17, 2023.  *** ****** agreed that this amount has not been deducted and agreed that his prior contact with the company took care of the issue.
