    Thursday, August 24 - **** ******** team started removing our chain link fence without our permission. Our neighbors that sold him the property, *** * ****** ****, saw ****** team removing the fence and informed them that it was not their fence and they stopped. But not before causing damage to our second wooden fence behind it as well.

    When I came home from lunch that day, I saw the area of fence that was removed/damaged and took photos of both fences.

    **** claims he obtained permission from ***** ****** to remove the fence, which he did not, as ***** wasn't even aware of the plans to remove the fence until after ****** crew had already removed a portion of the chain link fence and damaged the wooden fence. After the removal/damage had been done, **** spoke with ***** briefly after the damage was done, where he apologized for the damages and indicated he would make attempts to remedy the situation. There was never a conversation to obtain permission to remove the fence, prior to the removal. After the damage was done, I called **** and expressed my concerns with leaving the fence in the damaged state, as it is needed to enclose a pond in our yard for safety reasons. **** indicated he would research an estimate for building a new fence in it's place and he would 'get back to us.'
    **** failed to get back to us with the estimate promised, so I made a couple attempts to reach him and left a message. 9/12 & 9/13
    9/14/23 - Called **** from a different line. He now claims we were lying and gave him permission to take down the fence. When I countered &reminded him that he did not obtain permission, then he offered to put the chain link back and tie our 'dilapidated' wooden fence to it. I expressed concern that would not restore it to it's original condition. He then resorted to verbal abuse, yelling profanities, to which I said I would not tolerate profanities and verbal abuse and hung up. We have not been able to come to an agreement on how to rectify the situation.

    I have not heard from Bowden Construction either, since I filed this complaint. I'll be sure to send an update if I have any new information.
