    On April 1, 2025, I purchased a horseback riding and dinner package with Watkins C Ranch for an event scheduled on May 10, 2025, to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The $220 payment was made via Venmo. On May 9, 2025, ******* *****, the owner of Watkins C Ranch, canceled the event due to a possible COVID exposure. Since then, I have repeatedly requested a refund but have yet to receive one. The most recent promise of a refund was made on Saturday, May 24, 2025, when I was told it would be issued that day. It never was.

    Venmo advised me to file a police report regarding the issue, and I informed ******* ***** of that recommendation.

    I was contacted by the owner shortly after I filed the complaint with the BBB. He stated that his Venmo account was locked until Wednesday and asked if I had an alternative method for him to reimburse me before then. He also said he would be refunding me $300 instead of $220 due to all the issues. I provided my PayPal account, but he never sent the refund through PayPal either.

    I paid $200 for a class that they canceled two days before. They said they’d contact me to reschedule but never did so I had to keep asking and chasing for answers and at this point I just want my money back. I paid in June and have been trying to a refund back since October. They completely stopped responding to me and my partner has also been trying to get the money refunded. They just keep asking the same questions and never give the return on Venmo that they have stated they would multiple times.
