    Ambetter decided to change my PCP without my knowledge or consent. When I called them, they couldn't even find me! Once they found my account, then I had to provide all of my doctor's information because "they were having technical issues"! Not impressed with this group's customer service!

    This is the worst possible insurance you can even try to get. They have repeatedly denied me getting some of my medication’s, denied me getting my heart test when I have angina pain. The appeal process is a joke, as no matter what they keep denying everything on the appeals. this company should not be in business and not allowed to provide health insurance to anyone as they deny everything anyway. It is so frustrating beyond belief especially if you’re riddled with health issues. I would give them a negative star rating if that was possible.

    I have refused their "complementary" telehealth visit/health screenings with a doctor/nurse from their partner Signify Health 4 times this year (2023) and have asked them to remove me from their call list every time this year. I just got another call today. Their "benefits" are terrible for the premiums and they refuse to cover necessary meds my spouse needs because some doctor that works for Ambetter decided that it's unnecessary and that they somehow know more about my spouse's needs than our PCP. Private insurance is garbage and Ambetter exemplifies this. Stop contracting and spending money on other companies like Signify Health to keep tabs on people that need insurance, poor insurance, but insurance.

    Ten word minimum? Report them to the insurance commission. Im too mad to say anything else. But run the other way and find a better carrier. Ambetter is the worst. In other wordsAmNOTbetter!!! AmWORSE!!!! So heres the deal, read these reviews and take heed. The one and two star reviews are as accurate as can be. Not sharing my story YET because Im just getting started. But what we can do is start sending them all of our medical records, via paper, snail mail if were offered an appeal. All the physical proof you have and your specific issue then they can go through all that stuff and figure it out and they have to by law. They are wasting our time and much more. Lets face it theres not much we can do but toss a big mess in their lap to sort out, they can get what they give. We pay for a service that we are not getting and it is leaving many of ** in a state of poor health. Pitiful. Ill be back to continue my saga to get one simple medication request approved. Im having to go through all this ******** for that. I wont be heals hostage by the powers that be at Ambetter: Ill find new insurance next year straight away. One last thing, PLEASE dont gripe and the poor folks answering the phones. Ask for someone higher up ( yeah, its called the escalation department) or just call the AmBetter pharmacy directly. Those people answering the phones are just like you and I AND they have to work their as scapegoats for the bigwigs stealing our premiums. Gripe at the bigwigs, they wont do a **** thing but at least lets give credit where credit is due. All we can do is complicate things for them till we find new insurance. My friend suggested that we ALL file complaints with the insurance commission instead of wasting our energy ******** needlessly on these reviews. They help for venting but wont get anything resolved with our woefully inadequate service from AmNOTbetter, AmWORSE! Be good to you and yours and take care of yourselves and loved ones. Peace!

    I keep receiving text alerts/text messages from Ambetter about health screenings that need to be completed. I contacted the company and requested that all notification alerts would be turned off/disabled, etc. But I keep getting them and it's very frustrating. Not very happy with the service and will look for another health insurance company when I'm able to change providers.

    The worst health care provider! Now have filed complaint with **** Cataract surgery, in network facility, in network surgeon. First eye all good. 2nd eye anathelogist not in network. Now Bill for $480. Will fight this to the end!!

    Ambetter Health is ridiculous. Dealing with them is like dealing with the government. Oh wait, they are. That's why there such a process. Do not fall for all the propaganda of how wonderful this insurance will be. All they care about is getting your money, even when they aren't supposed to. Unless you like having to jump through rings of fire, being ran around worse than on any merry go round, and wanting to commit suicide or murder, then DO NOT enroll. They took my first payment before I was even verified and they had all the proper documents. The sweet lady at Healthcare Marketplace canceled the policy on their end, then transferred me with her still on line to Ambetter n told the customer service rep. who she was and the reason for her calling. So, I tell this lady from Ambetter that I want to cancel this policy and she asks me to verify my cancelation which I did. Then she tells me that I will need to contact Healthcare Marketplace and get policy/enrollment canceled there. ****, did I miss something. DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE!
