      I bought a pioneer xumo 55 inch 4k smart tv about 6 weeks ago now all of a sudden the hdmi ports do not work. They went hours over and over trouble shooting. They then tried to say it was my blu ray player but. I hooked up 2 players and it would not connect and the players connected to my roommates works fine. They continued to have me switch the hdmi around but it was a waste. Pioneer at the end of the call said I needed to reach geek squad and that there would be no charge to have them come out and fix my tv. I even questioned the woman and was like your positive it’s free? She said yes. She then asked me to switch the hdmi cables around and I do it of course it doesn’t work. Then when I said it didn’t work she hung up on me. I called geek squad now they want 129.99 to come out and for any parts the tv may need. I have only owned this tv 6 weeks and I’m supposed to pay half of what i paid for it to repair it. They kept saying it was my blu ray player but I have 2 of them and they both work on my roommates tv. I used the same player for the last 6 weeks with the tv also. Pioneer obviously knows they did something wrong because she wouldn’t have hung up on me. I really need help with this situation. I feel pioneer or Best Buy should be coming out to fix the tv for free because I just got the tv. Also I had it delivered because I do not drive or live near any of there stores. Something needs to be done.
