    I worked for this establishment for a little over year. It is a family owned establishment that has been in business for over 20 years. Things were starting to get uncomfortable at this establishment due to favoritism, discriminating and retaliatory behavior if you were unable to work early or later. Or even if you were to be sick & need time off.

    I simply started exploring my options for employment elsewhere, and once my Job found out about me looking for other places, they fired me immediately and banned me from the building from picking up my own private property for several days.

    They fired me through a text message very late at night after I had already gotten off of work. I was scheduled to come in the next morning, and I had fully filled books with all of my regular clients who have been coming to see me for a year.

    I will attach the message that was sent to me. I would like you to keep in mind that I had not formally or officially excepted a job offer anywhere and I have no paperwork signed to a new job.

    I was put into a group message for this termination:

    “ We have known about your plans to go to Mason wells for awhile now, we had hoped that you would have been honest with us about your intentions, but given the opportunity to be forthcoming, you chose otherwise. Since you have chosen employment elsewhere, you are relieved of employment at our salon. We will be using your esthi room tomorrow, so you will not have access to it, we will gather up your personal items and you may pick them up at the front desk on Monday.
    We are very excited for you to experience this new adventure and wish you the very best.”
