July 2022, we hired ******* ***** **** Concrete Plus Contractors, Inc. now located in Indianapolis, IN relocated from Kansas, to pour concrete in our walkway, driveway and sidewalk. Down payment given. The contract states the job would be completed in less than one week. He delayed the job from August to September. Once he started the job, we were required to give him another 25% of the total payment. He disappeared. Finally, we heard from him with an excuse. He completed another section of the job. We gave him another payment. Disappeared again. Weeks later came back, poured the sidewalk. A complete mess. The sidewalk looked like a snake because he used cheap materials, per the Inspector. **** failed the inspection, but he poured the concrete anyway. Argued with the village inspector. It took **** 3 months to complete the job. We insisted that he repour the areas that he messed up. Had to wait until the following year where it took him an additional 3 months after he delayed the job 2 months. When he broke up the areas he had to repour, he damaged the good sections. Left big chunks of concrete in front of our house for at least 2 weeks. His vehicle leaked oil in front of our home. He attempted to cover cracks that he made in the concrete and had a power wash guy come and “attempt” to smooth it over. The power wash removed the surface off of the concrete. We have permanent circles and lines throughout the entire concrete he poured except the approach. Every time he poured a section, he waited 3-4 weeks to pour the next section, leaving us with 5 different colors of concrete. The village inspector told us not to allow him to come back, that he is incapable of doing a professional job and to request a portion of our money back. After getting a Pastor involved from the church, **** agreed to the refund. But every agreement **** makes he breaks. We are left with damaged concrete that will have to be replaced. ****las owes us $1,050.00.

I signed a contract with Douglas **** /Concrete Plus on 5/22/2022 for $******* to redo my concrete steps and porch. He started the job on 7/10/2022 after a 10 day start delay stating a family emergency. I paid the first payment of $******* (half) when the contract was signed. As the job progressed he was paid another $*******, this was about halfway to completion. After that payment he would arrive late or skip days. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with his company , he apologized and promised to complete the job. After pouring the concrete on 7/29/22, he explained that the concrete would have to set 30 to 60 days before sealing, staining and rails could be installed. After many calls and texts with no answer, he showed back up 9/27/22 and measured for the railings and requested half of the last payment $****** to purchase them. I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM SINCE!!!! I have called and texted to no avail! I had to pay $******* to another contractor to install railings so I wouldn't fall off my porch this winter! The concrete still is not sealed and is now starting to crack around the edges of the porch! I have 3 numbers to contact him *** ********, *** ******** and *** ********.....left many messages and texts....HE JUST RAN OUT WITH MY MONEY!!!! * ** * ****** ******* **** * ***** ********  Can you help me?
