Hello, I filed a complaint with Lee crest apartment complex about bats and the property manager being rude, etc. I am emailing you guys to let you know that everything has been resolved. The next day after I complained they sent someone out to my apartment and fixed everything that I complained about. m just got it out and left.
two more times previously bats have entered into our apartment and we were told after removal to patch holes up ourselves where they could be coming in at with cardboard- this was not our fault with the holes and feel that again the landlord/maintenance should be securing the apartment for our safety as its causing safety hazard
They have also failed to fix our windows after multiple reports of them leaking and shifting with high winds and causing drafts. They advised us that the windows are old.

    Complaint: ********

This company has predatory practices. **** ********* lies about everything. I only called in the beginning right after I received the statement with charges related to my security deposit, that too asking for the pictures. She was the one at fault, not properly answering and repeatedly cutting calls. I did not call her after receiving the receipts/pictures as she claims here. She just keeps making false accusations which is a form of retaliation and that is illegal. I pointed this out in my email communication also but she still keeps making false accusations (even in her response to BBB). I do not agree with the receipt amounts or some of the expenses she sent as they are illegal according to Kansas Tenant Laws which I explained her in my emails along with the rules. I will attach my full email conversation here.

    Sincerely,
******** *****partment cleaning, she provided some pictures that randomly mention being dirty when they are not actually dirty at all. As part of the tenant rental rules, they are nothing more than normal wear and tear. She mentioned she got professional cleaning done for carpet cleaning (150$) and full apartment cleaning (200$). So, I asked for the receipts regarding those as the Kansas rental law states that the landlord needs to have all those receipts. I did not get any email response regarding my request. Tara was very rude and trying to threaten me with false accusations. It is clearly evident that she robbed us of all our deposit as their charges (400$) exactly match the total security deposit that we paid (400$). It is clearly a bad business practice as you can clearly see that she wanted to withhold all our deposit by putting random charges that exactly match 400$.

We have processed all of our security deposit settlements exactly the same for the past 50 years in accordance with Fair Housing Guidelines and the State of Kansas Landlord Tenant Act.  This previous resident signed all the documents with his lease agreement stating he would pay for any damages or anything left unclean.  The damages were deducted from his security deposit per his lease agreement, and he was provided with all receipts and pictures of the damages.  He was unwilling to accept this so he proceeded to call our office repeatedly until we had to report his behavior to our local police department in order to keep our phone lines open for business.  Our company has done everything within the guidelines we are held to.
