    I booked a room for one night at the McPherson Inn **************** for Thursday night Oct.13,2022 . I did this because I was going to take an elderly couple to their eye doctor appointment in *********** at 6 am the following day so I did not have to get up at 4;30 am on Friday morning and drive 45 minutes to *********. So approximately 4-5 pm on Thursday evening I had the elderly gentleman meet me at **** so I could get my oil changed while we were gone on Friday morning. After which he took me over to the motel so he could pay for my room. only to find out that the computers were down so the clerk asked me to come back before 7 pm and he would take care of it then. He did give me the room key, I did not go back to the room at that time. There were children running wild throughout and outside on the pavement. I returned about 6:30 or so just to find out the computers were down still. I said let me go take my things to the room and I would be back, To my surprise in the room after I opened the door up I found trash on the floor, toys all over the room , bed completely unmade, and the Tv blaring with cartoons on it. And yes I yelled( Please excuse this) ************* As I was going back up to the desk ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************, the clerk said the room is dirty , I replied it is filthy. And I was Not staying in a room like that. His reply was "don't yell at me, it's not my fault". So he told me that I could just leave then, which I did. How can a motel with such bad rating be allowed to stay open? ************************************************************ How can you allow this to go on?? Look on there site and you will see the reviews that are there. Why are children allowed to play in the guest rooms as well as run in and out of the motel while cars, semi's ,trucks coming in and out. I should have taken pict

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/10/27) */ Contact Name and Title: Rochelle ***** GM Contact Phone: ************ Contact Email: *************** I talked with the customer via telephone on 10-19-2022 and quickly issued her a refund for the amount she was charged the night of said incident, I then assured her those actions and behaviors are and will not be tolerated at this hotel and the employee working that night was terminated. By the end of the phone call I believe she was satisfied with my resolution Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/10/28) */ The new owners called me a couple of days ago and was very shocked that I had reported the incident and was very apologicit about it. And said that she was issuing a refund on that day, but I have not seen it in my bank account, so I must have used credit card. I won't know if I used that one until I get the new bill in a few weeks. She said a lot of changes were being made under her leadership so we will see what happens.
