The date of my transaction with this company happened on July 9, 2024. Prior to that date we contacted ***** ******, owner of the company to get a bid on putting in a septic system and we gave him the address of where the work needed to be done. He never informed us that he was NOT a LICENSED PLUMBER IN MISSOURI! So he gave a quote of $12,000 to do the work. The address of the work to be done is **** **** ****** **** Altamont MO 64620. We then met with him at the property and gave him a certified soil test by the state of MO stating that we needed to have a drip leg system put in as out septic system. He said he understood and that he would abide by the state soil test. So we verbally agreed for him to do the work. When he was done we met with him and paid him the $12,000!
The next day, the state of MO came out to approve the septic system and informed us it was the incorrect one and asked us who did the work. When we gave him ***** ****** and his company TK Plumbing, they informed us that he was not a state licensed plumber in MO and that he was not a Certified Septic Installer in MO. So then Daviees County got involved and between the state and county they fined TK Plumbing a big fine for not being a licensed plumber in MO and not being a Certified Septic Installer in MO and Daviees County.
We have tried many times to get our money back and and was told. We just recently contact the MO Attorney General for help getting our money back as well. We were told to file a complaint with the BBB to try and get and get our money back.
