    I am a US citizen and currently residing overseas in Montenegro. I purchased a Scala 2 pump from an authorized dealer and used their recommended installer. The pump never worked as expected and didnt provide the set pressure setting. I contacted the store where i purchased the pump and they sent their tech to look at it. I was then told that the diameter of the pipes used were not large enough for proper function of the pump and that i should replace them with larger diameter. I spent almost €1000 and got the pipes replaced based on the recommendation made by Grundfos technicians. The pump still didnt work and failed. I contacted the store once again, they now asked me to drop off the pump for service. Few days after, the service guys got in touch with me and said the pump is broken due to improper installation and is not covered under warranty.
    All i did was purchase a water pump from an authorized dealer and used THEIR recommended installer to install the pump and trusted that the installer knew what he was doing. Now turns out the pipes that were used did not satisfy the pump to work as expected.
    Grundfos should take responsibility and cover repairs or replace the pump if a repair is not possible. The pump is still under warranty.

    I am sorry to hear about your pump. Your supplier should provide a warranty/replacement. Did you purchase the pump here in the states or overseas? Is the installation here in the states?
    Please help me understand more so I can understand which channels can help you.
