I have used JC communications, Also know as RSVPanswering service and Southwest answering service for 7 years. We use them to answer our phones for our small business. They changed ownership from Russ to Stan last year 2021/22 . We recently completed our tax return for 2022 and noticed I was more than double the annual amount from what I ever have been for 7 years. When I inquired I found they changed from charging time for whats actually done on your calls and they round up all calls 60 sec. They say this is standard however when I switched and talked to about 6 others before choosing one I found some did 30 sec round ups or 15 sec or charged how they use to which was for exact time used. No one rounds 1 sec to charge the full 60sec. My hours used always matched up on reports but no anymore. They are sneaky and say well we do work after we hang up so more and more time was added that you wont even know if its truth or not. They also charged me about 35.00 for asking about the billing. Attorneys can lose their license for this but they seem to think they can bill every second as an attorney and they do with no hesitation. When I first spoke to the manager who has been there since me , she had no idea they changed there billing practices. She could not figure it out They also are the highest cost per minute at $1.40 per minute with the lowest minutes allowed in their packaged plan. They had no problem losing a customer of 7 years so obviously they do not care for customers and all about the MONEY . GET IT STAN!! May bite you in the butt one day ... They also use to be local in KC however the cooperate is no longer local its in another state. Also very hard to post reviews for some reason this is not an option on google but I will keep checking to try and post as many as I can so others can know how they work. They are no better than any other answering service but more than double the cost of what they were just 1 year ago and double from all others I spoke with.
