My company, **** *********** ********** ***, is the new association manager for Oak Park Homes Association.  Mr. ******* *s a member of Oak Park and was mailed a letter and invoice for an annual dues payment that was outstanding.  Upon seeing this complaint, one of my staff reached out to Mr. ******* by phone and was told that he had paid the invoice recently and sent a check to the same place he has been sending it to for years.  Because this is our first year managing Oak Park, we suspect he sent his check to the former management company's address (the wrong location).

Mr. ******* would not work with us to determine where he (or his bank) mailed his check so at this point, we can only confirm that we have not recieved it and his dues are still outstanding.  While we would very much like to collaborate to resolve this issue, our efforts were met with threats of legal action.

If Mr. ******* would like to resolve this, we can be contacted at **************

This company is a scam. We live in a nicer subdivision in West Kansas City Kansas. There was already a lawsuit against them regarding the same issue they take all of the homeowners HOA DUES, AND DO NOTHING WITH THEM OTHER THAN MOW SOME GRASS AND PLANT SOME SHRUBS. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for five years now we’ve never had an HOA meeting. We have no benefits to paying these people and they are reaping the benefits of our money. The homeowners as a whole have tried many times to get it moved over to the homeowners. One of the homeowners stated that when they used to have homeowners association meetings there was over $160,000 in that account we’ve never seen anything other than a couple landscaping projects. We have a park that’s over 15 years old and falling apart. We have sidewalks that are hazardous due to being uneven. The homeowners just want this handed over to us and we’ve continuously got the runaround as to why it hasn’t been we don’t need a business that does nothing for us other than take our money and we would like to have the HOA given to the homeowners to benefit our subdivision and our families. These people will not stop until something is done, and we need help.

We do manage Delaware Ridge Homes Association(s) on behalf of a development team.  We are not the Board of DIrectors but an Agent of the homes association.

We do collect dues and pay for ground maintenance, utilities, insurance, etc. on behalf of the Developers/BOD.  We have been running this accociation properly during our tenure.

Home Association Solutions, LLC has not been sued, however, there has been a seven year collection lawsuit in place between the association and one of its members.  This lawsuit will go to trial later this week, will hopefully be resolved which will allow control of the association(s) to be transitioned over to members who volunteer to serve.  It is truly amazing how long this simple legal dispute has been allowed to remain in place and not been promptly resolved within the Wyandotte County courts.

Association and developer resources have been spent on the legal team that represents the association.  It is truly unfortunate but was required.  We have managed to keep the commons in the association looking nice, kept the assocaition in good standing with the state, etc.  All without the need to increase dues or pursue a special assessment.

In my opinion, my company has done its best to run this association during a very challenging time.  It should also be noted that we are not the decision makers within this not-for-profit homes association.  So I feel that we have properly managed this entity and the frustration within this complaint is targeted at the wrong entity.
