They put the intake valves on the wrong way round. I took it back before I knew this, due to engine sounding off and going through oil like crazy. They fobbed me off and did a different repair. I still had issues and took it to BLVD tire. They discovered that not only the intake valve issue, but an engine bolt (s) head not been reattached, the check engine light was disconnected, the battery installed was USED, the full system had not been replaced like you are supposed to and things were left a mess. I did not take it back to New Concept because I had overheard ****, the office manager at NC take a number of calls in my time waiting around where MULTIPLE customers were calling about jobs that were not fixed right and he was manipulating them on the phone. He also gave several quotes to men who came in for the same diagnostics I had done, a cheaper price in Spanish. I wrote to the main office via email and they said they would deal with it, but they called one time, letting it ring once. I called back and could not get a real person. I paid over 3,000 for a job that was badly done and felt swindled. I did not trust to take it back and having had to pay to tow my vehicle to BLVD tire and being unfamiliar with the area, I did not trust 'other repair pal certified' shops as many also have bad reviews and BLVD tire was close to both my work and home.

Went to get brakes done then was told
There was a separate problem after the Intial service was done and told me it would fix it. then tried to up charge me after agreement of pay at cost for part. Also the mechanic who did the job said he didn’t feel right about the work and the foreman said he thought it was okay. All in all they will sell you tons of problems that aren’t there and also try to overcharge don’t go there.

I used this repair shop earlier this year. I went in for the first time with a coupon and a list of several repairs I wished to have done. I showed up around 11 AM and waited. Around 1:30 PM I was handed my keys and rather than having the work completed, they had merely inspected my automobile. Thought this to be unusual, because this work had been diagnosed at the dealership on an earlier date. Told to return the car for repair work which I did. And the additional work they stated I needed to have done? In the thousands of dollars. This work was politely declined. And why is that you say? Seven days before an alignment was done at Firestone on West 79th Street, Overland Park, Kansas. Among the maintenance jobs they put in writing I needed was an alignment! My Goodness!!

And will I return to this garage for additional work? No way. I continue to receive coupons from New Concept by mail which I toss. My only regret is that if their coupons were of softer texture, I could use them as toilet tissue in the bathroom.

Very disappointed with my experience with New Concept auto service.. I took my car in because my check engine light was on and also my my abs brake system light was on.. I had a coupon for a free engine scan (which was worthless). They charged me for a level one diagnostic check and another fee for the abs diagnostic check.. For the abs the determined that I needed a left speed sensor which I knew from a previous diagnostic check and they said I needed a level 2 diagnostic check to dig deeper to see what the check engine light problem was.. They determined that I needed to replace the intake exhaust solenoids.. All that seemed reasonable and I okd all those repairs.. Day Two: it was determined that I needed left wheel bearings to support the left wheel speed sensor in which that kinda made sense.. A couple days go by as they completed.. I pick up my car on Wednesday August 24th, I settled my bill of a little over $1400.. I got in my car no check engine light.. I ran a couple errands.. In less than 30 minutes of driving.. Boom.. check engine light was back on.. Since they were closed by then I called them the next morning (talked to ****) and they told me to bring it in.. They checked some things out and got the light to go off and told me to come and get my car.. once I got in my car and drove for about 10 minutes and BOOM.. check engine light back on, by this time Im kinda upset.. I called them back and they scheduled me to bring my car in on Monday (remind you this is Thursday).. I took the car back on Monday and by Tuesday sent me an estimate for almost a thousand dollars an active grille air shutter and activated and module programming.. My question is where was this diagnosis last week when you did a level 2 diagnostic check..I would of not had a problem with this if they would of told me this last week when I got the other repairs done, then I would of had an option of whether to get the car repaired there or not,l
