  I was told that they have free estimates, when the estimator called he said he would charge me 1,500 for just estimating the job before I even hire them. I was also insulted and called a "tire kicker" for not immediately hiring them for a job.

  First of all, I would like to thank anyone who’s taken the time to read our response to this review. We are an established company of 24 years with a reputation and record of handling any person who contacts our residential design and remodeling company with the highest professionalism, character, and integrity.
   
  In an industry where many consumers will not even get a return phone call from contractors, our policy is to call back every potential consumer, whether we feel our company is a fit for their project or not. As a result of that process, we contacted this individual to simply inquire about more information about his project. Mind you this individual did not employ our contracting services, nor was he ever a client of ours this review is an intentional attempt to tarnish our record in whatever way he can based on a five-minute phone conversation that we had regarding the specifics of his project. He simply did not like what I had to say. So here is the summary.
   
  He is currently in a lawsuit with the city of Kansas City Missouri based on another class action lawsuit being brought against Kansas City Missouri from another third party. On two occasions (on a phone call with me and a separate phone call with our office assistant) he informed us that he would not be doing the project if he was not successful with his lawsuit with the city of Kansas City Missouri. He also stated even if he was successful, it would be several years down the road if he even chose to do the project. Our response was we would have a fee to come out, bring our team to assess his current situation, and provide him a formal written estimate of those costs given the parameters that he set forth with his level of interest in doing this project.
  He was offended by the fact that and I tried very hard to articulate why it is that we could not come out and give him a free formal estimate. Which it is our position and our right to decline anyone for any reason we see fit. We are not obligated under any law to provide free proposals to everyone who calls and asks for one.
   
  But it is my personal and professional spirit to at least explain why a project would not be a fit for our company, and that is simply what I was attempting to do. He just did not like it.
   
  Please visit our website and look at our customer service rating as we currently hold a 97% approval rating with all surveys performed by a third party and easily accessible to any consumer who cares to take the time.
   
  Unfortunately, this individual has written his review and it is unfortunate we can do nothing about that but respond to this review. Please feel free to contact our office and talk with me the president regarding this information if you like. We have also been a AAA member of the Better Business Bureau for several years as you will see. We do wish this gentleman luck in finding a quality contractor for his project.
