      My 2012 Chevy Traverse has been in their shop for over a year and a half and it is still not fixed. We have paid them for their services and now I don't have a car or the money. They were supposed to replace the engine. They also do not communicate- we have to call them or show up just to get updates on the vehicle status.

      As far as your complaint with the 2012 Traverse, we were hired to install a USED engine assembly, supplied by the customer, which we did, and the engine supplied was bad. The salvage facility supplied another USED assembly, and salvage paid us to put that in, this engine will not run as well. We have tried everything we know to do, your husband has brought other mechanics to look at it, with no luck resolving the issue as well. When hired to do the job, we explained we do not warranty any labor on used, or customer supplied parts, as well.

      I am rejecting this response because: if you can’t fix it, find someone else who can or tell us you can’t. Is the engine bad, is there something else wrong? If the engine is bad let us know so we can send it back and deal with that company. Don’t just let it sit there collecting dirt, leaves, letting the cat sleep in it. And communicate- don’t make us have to keep calling or show up just to get updates.
