    ****** ****** sole proprietor of Joes Nature Scapes LLC, came to my house on Oct 20 to bid a small landscape job to build a 4x4 wood landscape area around the solo tree in my front yard.
    He was very persistent about getting my business as he had bid another bigger job I had planned earlier in the previous year that I chose another business to complete that job. On site he agreed to do the labor for $400 and wanted to give me the full bid onsite. I said no go home, get your figures together and send me a contract with amounts. Later on the 20th he sent a proposal stating materials would amount to $460 plus his labor of $400 would make the job $860. He asked for the cost of materials up front and the rest upon completion. He indicated he would start the join on the 23rd of October. I sent him $460 to his wife's venmo account ****** ************ the night of Oct 20. Closer to Oct 23rd he did message that he would not be able to start until the 25th, I said that was fine. Then on the 25th he said he would start on the 26th. He did not start on the 26th and he has not responded to any of my contact attempts since the 25th.
