Lucy the owner, instructor is trying to make my daughter pay more than what she owes. Trying to collect federal funding from her grants, plus more. My daughter has a receipt stating balance paid in full, after Lucy made her pay $**** for going over her hours because she had a baby. Now is also asking for another $**** because Lucy made a mistake. Having students work in the facility when it's 58 degrees, flooding in the building causing mold, which my daughter is highly allergic to. My daughter has 2 more days to finish school, and this lady is doing everything in her power to make sure that doesn't happen unless she can get more money out of her...what a shame.

Lucy the owner, instructor is trying to make my daughter pay more than what she owes.

    - The claimant's daughter signed a contract to complete her Barber training within a year. The school offers our students an extra 3 months (Max-timeframe) which is clearly stated in the catalog and discussed in details during orientation and students sign paperwork acknowledging they were informed of (SAP) satisfactory Attendance Policy among other policies which is in her file with her signature. The claimant took a lot of time off to watch her siblings among going to ****** for vacation. Last year in May she was given a written warning alongside other students in her situation so no one can say they were "ambushed "about the Max timeframe which she signed. She was made aware of the consequences of not completing her program within the timeframe.

-She was running behind on her attendance of 80% before she even had a baby. As a matter of fact, she was allowed to bring her baby to school with her for the 2 months of the schooling and had her teachers watch her baby which is against the school's policy to bring children to school. This accommodation was offered to her to allow her to complete the program before she incurred over-contract fees. We have testimonies as well as camera images of her with her baby in school. I even allowed her to use my personal office to **** **** ** ******* *** **** ** ******** ****** ** ***** **.

Thanks for allowing me to answer this mis categorization of facts by a person who is just hearing on side of the story from her daughter.

Trying to collect federal funding from her grants, plus more. My daughter has a receipt stating balance paid in full, after Lucy made her pay $**** for going over her hours because she had a baby.

    - The above is incorrect. The paid in full was for the $**** over-contract fee. Her actual charges were over $******* but I cut her a deal to pay just the half.

Now is also asking for another $**** because Lucy made a mistake.

-Incorrect. I had informed her via text message that I was having a hard time accessing some sites while I was out of the country and I had promised to resolve the issue with her ledger until I returned to the States which I did upon my return and credited her ledger and issued her a check which she cashed immediately for the overpayment from Federal financial aid account.

Having students work in the facility when it's 58 degrees, flooding in the building causing mold, which my daughter is highly allergic to. My daughter has 2 more days to finish school, and this lady is doing everything in her power to make sure that doesn't happen unless she can get more money out of her...what a shame.

-Incorrect. While is true there were issues of flooding in the building, the school was closed to both the students and the public until the issue was resolved. I have documentation to proof this claim.
