    Due to weather, there were delays, as expected. However, we have not had our trash picked up in over 3 weeks now.
    I was told on 1/15/25 that trash would be picked up by 1/17/25.
    Normal trash days are on Tuesdays.
    1/17/25 goes by, no trash pick up.
    I called on 1/21/25, and the representative told me again, that trash would now be picked up by 1/24/25.
    I requested to speak with a manager. I was told none were available but she would put my call in "queue". The representative proceeded to hang up on me.
    Then I called again today, 1/23/25, and am now being told trash will be picked up on 1/28/25 (our normal trash day) . also, the rep never put me in queue to speak with a manager. (according to the other rep) They are refusing to take phone calls or call us back.
    I asked about a credit to my account and the rep stated they don't give credits due to weather. This is no longer weather-related. Our roads have been taken down to DIRT (for almost 2 weeks now) and yet when we call in, we are told that they still cannot access our route. Folks, you won't get better roads in JULY.

    I have spoken with **** ******* and she is not happy with the information I provided her but as I informed her safety was our priority. She requested to speak to someone in Kansas and I informed her that I am the Customer Experience Manager. ***** I let her know that we would recover her additional bagged household trash when it was safe for the community and driver. **** then called back again and I instructed a rep on my team to offer 2 weeks of credit for her inconvenience. Refund request was created and I approved it then sent to Accounts Payable for processing. This process can take up 90 days for confirmation and creating the check. I hope this information helps to clear the situation. Thank you.

    LRS Trash company has not picked up trash this week and all phone numbers listed online have been disconnected and no longer in service. My trash is piling up and I will now have to set up service with another trash company but there is no way to cancel my service with LRS online or by phone and I am concerned they will continue to bill me. I am up to date on payments and this is the first time I cannot get a hold of anyone at this company to get some sort of response. I am not paying for a service that is not being provided but I also don’t want this company to continue to bill me then send me to a collection agency in the future. Please help

    Since September 1st a message has played at beginning of every call stating our number would be changing on January 1st 2025 to **********. The service in Kansas has been delayed due to inclement weather that has made roads unsafe for our drivers to navigate. LRS has made this decision with the safety of the community and our employees a priority. Service will resume the week of the 13th through the 17th on your regular service day, and we will recover the additional household trash placed at the curb at this time.     I overpaid and asked for refund in May and that was lost in company sale. In October they said they mailed a check but 30 days and no check. They won’t issue another as it’s coming tomorrow- for 2 weeks now. Hard to get them to answer my calls now. Help

    They finally did overnight a check, after 5 months. Hear 3 times the check was in the mail , get it tomorrow when it was never cut. Thanks, everyting is done now.

    I own 2 businesses of which both have LRS dumpster service. Over the period of 2 years LRS has done nothing to resolve pick up issues in a timely manner, nor have they credited accounts as they said they would. My most recent issue is that they have not picked up a dumpster from my property after I have cancelled my service and they continue to send me invoices for services even though they are not providing any trash pickup. The charges are also more than we have agreed for trash pick up. This company is by far the worst trash company I have ever dealt with in my 17 years of doing business across 5 different states.

    On August 18, 2023, my father, ****** ** ****** an all most 90-year-old widowed man changed trash services to the city of Topeka's trash service. The letter, which was written on the service providers billing, stated he wished to cancel service as of August 29 or 30, 2023 whenever they picked up their trash can. On August 29, 2023 they picked up the trash can. Along with the letter, was a check for $25.07 that was cashed by Orion/LRS. over the next 12 months and after two more letters requesting them to credit my dad with no service since August 29, 2023, they sent a bill for $350.98. I advised them if this wasn't completed by August 8, 2024 I would be filing a complaint with the Kansas AG's office - Consumer Affairs - Elder Fraud division. No response was ever received only increasing billing statements for service that has not been performed by this company! I am a business owner and (I yes live in a glass house and are very reluctant to cast the first stone, I waited 12 months) I do not take lightly in filing a complaint, I would rather resolve the situation, but their website boast of being part of the BBB and the KS AG office had asked if a complaint was filed with the BBB. I thank you in your help in advising Orion/LRS they are upholding the BBB code of ethics. Best regards, ***** ** *****

    I've attached a copy of an email from LRS that they have corrected my dad's bill. If they by chance do send another billing in November, I will advise you of this issue. Thank you for your help, and hopefully they hire enough staff to keep better records.

    Since September, 2023 LRS, Who bought out *****, stopped service to me. I haved notifiled them many times that the County has taken over providing my waste pick up. I offered them payment through September. They keep billing me ever month for service that they are not providing. I want it to stop. It's a scam.

    Orion waste solutions took over for ***** ***** *******. In a year I have never received a bill and if I get service it's very spotted. I told the agent I did not want there service anymore. She responded by telling me about a bill that I'm being charged 3 months in advance for .

    I've been assessed a late fee for remitted payment prior to due date. This assessment is automatically applied to my account. I've attempted to contact the business:

    07/31/2023: call/voicemail (unreturned) and website inquire

    At this point I don't even know how to cancel my service, I can't get a hold of anyone to assess the issue. If I pay the late fee, given the issues with current communication, I know I'll never receive a refund. If I'm in the wrong I'd gladly pay any associated fee. I'm at a loss of what to do other than not pay and file a BBB complaint.

    On 11-19-22 I received billing for trash pick-up services for August, September, & October of 2022 in the amount of $***** from Orion. However I had paid ******************* the previous owner, for the year - beginning December 2021 through November 2022. I called Orion on Monday 11-21-22 and talked to a Jess. She informed me that they needed verification, by sending her copies, that I had paid ****************** in November 2021 for the year. (She requested a copy of invoice, which showed dates of service, copy of check - front and back with endorsement.) I emailed her those 3 copies on 11-21-22 to *************. Jess informed me that if l had paid for the year, I still owed them $**** which was the increased amount they were charging for services, that went into effect in November 2022. Previous service amount was $*****/mon, so an increase of $****/mon. (I told her I did not understand why I needed to pay the $**** when I had already paid for November 2022, in November 2021')I mailed a check for $**** along with a letter stating that I wanted to discontinue receiving their trash pick-up service - effective at end of November 2022.I am worried that they are trying to obtain funds that are not due them! They were trying to have me pay for the increased amount of $*****/month for Aug.,Sept., & Sept. (*************************************************************) I knew from past years that my trash yearly payment was in November.
