I was yelled at while taking my urine test multiple times. Upon walking to the testing room ***** told me to be polite. He then continued to repeat himself saying that I should’ve greeted him and to be a “decent human” I told him I was not upset and was just trying to take my urine test. I had already given ***** my cup of urine and he had already scanned it into the computer I asked if I could wash my hands before signing anything because they have urine on them. He proceeded to yell at me again telling me no, I attempted to wipe my hand with a clorox wipe so I wouldn’t be getting urine on the electric signature pad. He then snatched the wipes from me and continued to yell at me and told me “Did I tell you to do that you do what I say”. I told him I was just trying not to get pee on anything that’s a health hazard. I felt very uneasy and unsafe about the entire thing. I told him multiple times that he didn’t need to yell at me he said “I’m raising my voice” then proceed to say “Just because you don’t like how we do things here doesn’t mean you change them”. I work in healthcare and have taken many urine lab tests for other company’s and never been treated like this. I tried to call the company and complain and the “manager” told me I could call ********’s and complain because they would care more. I just don’t want other young women to go here and be subject to the same yelling, mistreatment, and humiliation that I was.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/07/2024

I interviewed our Manager of the OAC Department, ***** **********, as well as, I asked him for a written statement of the incident.  After knowing and working with ***** for over 5 years and the fact that he has performed thousands of drug tests in our clinic on behalf of many employers in the region, I have never received even one negative comment about the service he provides.  In fact, just the opposite, I have had many many people compliment ***** and the OAC for its outstanding service!  With all that being said, it is very clear to me that the young lady filing this complaint was simply upset that she couldn't get an appointment at the time she wanted.  She didn't call ahead for an appointment and arrived at our facility after normal testing hours.  When she wasn't allowed to enter the building she became belligerent and rude to our receptionist and *****.  Her anger and attitude were carried over to when she came back for a drug test a few days later.  Her complaint is filled with gross lies and exaggerations.  I will gladly provide the BBB with *****'s written statement outlining the actual events but I do not see any value in providing a response to the person filing the complaint.  There is nothing to be gained by contacting her.  We perform drug tests and physical capacity tests for employers on their potential new hires.  She was instructed to obtain a drug test from the OAC by a temporary employment hiring service.

Please let me know if you would like to receive a copy of *****'s statement, however, we will not respond with anything intended to be provided to person that filed this complaint.

    Sincerely, **** ********, Administrator
