    This is for the Emporia, KS ********** ****** location. Was not listed on here, but same website, so assuming franchise. This location repeatedly told me it would be $10 after insurance for service. Went ahead and got appt done, and when paying they wanted $70-80. When asked how that was, was told they charge that for contact fitting. Never agreed, and wasnt told there would be charge for it. They said there always was, but had no answer for if it always was charged, then why wasnt I told. They said i could just pay the $10, but wouldn't get my prescription, which would defeat the whole purpose of it. Left before paying, but went back and gave them money, but didnt say for receipt, so they'll probably say never paid at all, after the stuff they've already done.

    We will be training our staff to ensure that patients are made aware of any costs that are associated outside of the patient's insurance in a timely manner so to ensure that patient unsatisfactory care does not occur again.
