I rented from them for almost 6 years, the first couple of years I had a great experience with the owner. When he opened the rental company House Property Partners everything changed. There is constant turn over in the office, the staff was and is still extremely rude, there seems to be a huge lack of communication in their office. In the fall of 2023 neighbors moved in with 3 dogs, their yard was fenced but the gate was broken and the dogs kept getting out. The neighbors were told by multiple people that the dogs were getting out but did nothing about it. My dog was attacked when they knocked the broken gate open. I reached out to the rental company and was told they could only fix the gate but the attack was a civil matter. The gate went for weeks without being fixed and my dog was attacked a 2nd time, I pressed charges, and the owner of the dogs was charged with vicious dog and dog at large. I complained multiple times; calling, leaving messages etc. and still the gate was not fixed, the tenants were using camping chairs and their sliding glass screen door as a deterrent to keep the dogs away from the gate. I contacted the owner of the property directly by email and his response was they would fix the gate, and he was disappointed that the neighbors were acting irresponsibly but again any issues with the dog attack are a civil matter, I had 3 maintenance issues that were pending for over a year, the most serious was the 2nd story balcony that had rotting wood. I sent multiple pictures and put in multiple work orders at their request, and they saw the issues in 2024 when they did my lease renewal walk through. I would get emails asking if maintenance had been out to fix the items, I would say no, and nothing would come of it. I moved out in March 2025 and none of the items had been fixed.
