AAA sent Almighty Towing Service LLC to pick up my van. The driver took the van and the KEYS to the dealership address I gave them.

The Problem: the tow truck driver gave to keys to someone. Who? He doesn’t know. AAA and or the tow companies they use have ZERO key handoff protocol. The tow truck driver passed off the key with knowing WHO he was leaving it with, and with no signature, no paperwork, just gave the key to SOMEONE. Now the key if MISSING. This should NEVER happen. When passing off the keys the giver AND the receiver of the keys should SIGN that the exchange and responsibility of the keys has shifted hands. So my van keys are nowhere to be found. AAA NEEDS A POLICY IN PLACE THAT THEIR TOW TRUCK AFFILIATES MUST HAVE A SIGNATURE OF THE PERSON THE KEYS WERE GIVING TOO SO THERE IS ACCOUNTABILITY.

FYI: know that the keys, AND THE VEHICLE for that matter, are simply giving willy-nilly with no proof of a hand off.
