    We called Topeka Transmission due to a sensor in the transmission. They told us if we didn't fix the sensor the transmission would go out. We let them do the repair for over 1800 and they said the warranty would be for a year. A week later after all was good leaving the shop the transmission goes out anyways!! They won't give us money back or money towards something that went out after they fixed the senors in the transmission.... They told my spouse they could take the part out they did and put in next transmission... Very fishy!!! It took them a week after we dropped it off to tell us the transmission was out too. We had to pay a huge few to get it towed back to them as they are an hour away. Than to take a week after dropping off to tell us the transmission did go out... And say it's not on them. Not okay.

    The Subaru Forester was brought in with a solenoid code.
    Solenoids are not available separate so we purchased a new valve body from our
    local Subaru dealer and installed it. It fixed the issue and customer picked up
    their vehicle. The repair for the valve body does have a 1 year warranty. How ever
    after diving it 635 miles with no issues. Vehicle was towed in. We checked it
    to find a separate issue of internal failure- unrelated to valve body
    replacement. I told them that the transmission would have to be replaced. I
    also told them I could remove the new valve body from there transmission and
    put it in a box to keep for the replacement transmission, so when the solenoid
    fails in the used transmission they have a replacement. We do a lot of these
    repairs with no issues. I cannot predict broken parts in a transmission as it
    was working fine for 635 miles before something else broke. To try to help them
    out I offered to install a (customer supplied) used transmission, which is
    something we don’t do normally.
