    On 10/26 I had wfx truck 1031 diagnosed with with a after treatment problem the codes indicated needed pump on 10/27 called kenworth Kansas City they had pump and recieved quote on 10/28 called Topeka kenworth ks to see if they had part they said yes ****** I asked how much to install part he gave me estimate of around $1400 I then asked when could they install it they said this afternoon then asked if they could recommend tow service had ****** ***** ******* tow truck to kw Topeka. On 10/29 pickup truck recieved envoice that was a lot higher than estimate asked why they said that’s what it is drove truck from Topeka ks to Pratt ks same codes came back up and put engine into derate 10/30 had truck looked at ***** **** truck service they diagnosed truck needing same pump and the pump kw Topeka installed was not installed correctly that I needed at Topeka ks Kw they changed the wrong pump.

    Contacted customer to discuss and found that unit had a part fail that we had replaced. Customer went to another location and that same part was replaced under warranty. Awaiting confirmation from this customer that they are no longer experiencing the same problems with their tractor.

    Yes the same part failed due to bad installation is what iam being told but that does not solve the problem they change wrong part to begin with on 10/28 if they look at part number quote 10/27 diagnosed and part number  on invoice they are different and it is pump needed to be replaced  and from what I understand has not  been replaced as of 11/22  iam no longer  asking them to replace  either pump and currently asking for reimbursement for pump that I  paid for  $1961.00 and Tow $1800 and rediagnosed issue by southwest  truck service Pratt Kansas  $351.00 iam owner of truck and as of 11/04 truck has been  put out of service because of this issue
