    I bought my home in 2023. I acquired a water softener plant with the home that was installed by Hague water company. The system was inspected within last year and deemed functioning properly. It comes with 25 year warranty and is still in that warranty period.
    My home plumbing suddenly choked and I lost pressure in faucets. Called a plumber who looked into it and confirmed that the resin leaked from water softener tank rupture. This has been getting into the water me and my family use for drinking, cooking and cleaning. I have young kids 6 and 3 years old. They have been having issues with skin infections, nausea, abdominal discomfort for few weeks. I am putting everything together now and the resin is causing this.
    The business should have given us a clear warning if the unit is not functioning properly when it was inspected within last year.
    These units are not safe if it can lead to water tank rupture and leak of resin into the water supply.
    My plumbing, appliances and family’s health has been impacted by this.
