We originally entered into a contract with ***** in May of 2023 for phases 1-4 to restore a house in Wichita for us. That amount was paid and the work was mostly completed. Then, we signed a contract with ***** ******** of Premiere Home Service on 12-18-23 to finish the work, phases 4-8 of the same house. The contract estimated 4 weeks to completion. It has now been 9 months and the work is not finished. We paid $37,778.50 of the $38,505.04 contract amount. ***** has now ghosted us and will not respond to any communication. We consulted another contractor and it will take $30,000 to repair what he did wrong and finish what he still hasn't done. We have text messages, pictures, emails and the contract to back up our claim.

This is the response we got back from ***** when we emailed him to ask for our money back.  He is claiming no responsibility. We still owed him a couple thousand dollars but he owed us 30,000 worth of work. He is acting like it is even and it is not. I also uploaded the new bid we got to complete the house. Option 2 is the one that shows what it would cost to do it the way it was contracted to be done by ***** and correct the mistakes he made.
