On I took my car in for new shocks on 01/13/2024. The Shocks were put on and work finished on 01/13/2024. I had went into get spring spacers. He said I needed air shocks they will do a better job. They worked for a while and now my tire is rubbing. I asked him to fix the shocks that he recombined, He said the shocks are fine. However, the tire is still rubbing and I can't drive my car. When I have called talk to him on the phone, he has hung up on me and will not talk to me. I would like him to fix the problem or give me my money back so I can go somewhere that will fix the problem.

1st, I have never hung up on him, he however has hung up on me and I had immediately called back to see why the aggression, I have explained to him that he has oversized tires, they do not come out with 20" wheels in 1985. The car originally had air shocks on them from factory, they was worn out so we had replaced them, we installed a switch to air up tires on command if it is low, I have also explained to him that we do not do much with air ride systems outside of replacing shocks and air compressor, I have never treated him in a wrongful manner, his apartment complex manager had even called me once for him and she also said that he is very difficult to deal with and she has had multiple bad encounters with him, if he puts on the factory wheels and tires (**********") then the tire will no longer rub on the fender, but he does not want to do that because he "likes the look of it" with the bigger aftermarket 20" wheels. I should not have to refund his money because he altered his car, the air shocks we put on was factory style direct fit and not an aftermarket air shock kit.

The business told me my car was $**** and then they had to order a part. The part came in and they stated it was $*** more. I told them nevermind don't put the part on because it cost to much. They said well if we don't put the part on it will cost $**** to send it back. I was not informed the cost of the part before they ordered it. I need help resolving this situation.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/12/15) */ This is a misunderstanding in communication. The part in question can be returned, I advised the customer there would be a restocking fee, freight charge and the part would have to be insured for the amount of $******* per the manufacturer. We are still working on the vehicle and are more than willing to work with the customer regarding the invoice total once the vehicle has been fully diagnosed.
