Between the dates of December 16, 2024, and December 20, 2024, Yingling Aviation provided maintenance service for an aircraft that I own, registration number *****, a 2006 Beechcraft Baron G58. I was charged $8,345.18 for this service which was poorly performed. After a lengthy discussion with Yingling Aviation management, a partial refund in the amount of $1,804.40 was offered to me in an effort to resolve the dispute. The refund was offered to me on January 16, 2025. I agreed to accept it and conclude all business with Yingling Aviation.

I was asked by Yingling for my mailing address for the purpose of mailing my refund check. I provided the address, and they confirmed receipt of it again confirming their plan to mail be a refund check. This confirmation occurred on January 18, 2025. In an email from ***** ******, Project Manager at Yingling Aviation, in his email dated January 18, 2024 (at 1:14 PM), he wrote: "Thank you, I will have these credits processed this week, they will get you a check sent."

Having not received the refund check, I emailed both ***** ****** and ***** *****, Vice President of Operations at Yingling Aviation, on February 1, 2025, to inquire about the refund check. Both men ignored my inquiry.

On February 4th, 2025, I emailed **** *******, Chairman of the Board at Yingling, ****** ********, Executive Vice President, Chris Short, and ***** ****** again to inquire about the refund that is due to me. Only **** ******* responded with an apologetic response and a quote I found very telling which is: "This is really not the way Yingling used to do business." *** ******* used to own Yingling but sold majority interest to a private equity firm in 2023. A quick check of various social media and online aviation forums prove that Yingling have cheated many other aircraft owners, not just me.

I hired yingling avaition to finish an ****** ******** install that another shop had started. The shop it started went out of buisness and did not complete the job. ***** ****** went and looked at the
aircraft and gave me a quote to fix N834rm which is the tail number of the airplane. The quote was for 26,000 dollars in labor but may be less if things go good. The airplane was flown to Yingling for repair around June of 2023. I was told that it would take three to four weeks to complete. Months and months go by with no updates. I was told they were working on it and then later ***** told me they were lying and were not working on it but it was in a hanger that they could not do maintenance on. I appreciated the honesty. Then a few weeks later I get a bill that is almost six times what I approved with more authorization. I confronted them and looked at the plane myself it wasn't any further along than when it was brought there. ***** short looked through the billing and said he would reduce the price but then I kept getting more and more bills. I was told they were going to build a new avionics wiring harness but instead they tried to fix the one that was in there and after they supposably put 800 hours into fixing the harness they built a new one and started over. I was also told that they would fix things right the first time they were the best . Plus they sent me a list of interior parts that were missing months later i am not saying that they lost them it could of happened before. Now the plane is out of annual because it has been there for so long which is a large expense. They are telling me that they need to start over with the instrument panel that they have had removed multiple times and never said it was not sufficient for the price of 18,500. I don't know if it will ever be flyable again and to go from 26,000 to 140,000 without authorization. I will probably have a 200k bill for 50k worth of work.
