I have been banking with them for decades. The last few years has made me start thinking of going to another financial institution. Everyone overdrafts once in awhile and they pay a fee when the bank lets the purchase go ahead-not intrust bank! If your purchase is even a cent over drafted, they reverse the purchase and charge the overdraft fee! Some people can't afford to have purchases reversed! Do not use Intrust Bank!

Hello Mary. We always encourage each of our customers to monitor their account balances to avoid overdrawing their accounts. To help you avoid overdrafts, we offer tools like free personal online and mobile banking, which includes email and SMS text balance alerts, and free 24/7 automated phone banking.

We do, at our discretion and as a service to our customers, pay transactions even when a customer does not have the funds available in their account, for which we charge an overdraft fee. Other times, we will decline the transaction and charge a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee. In this instance, it appears that you were charged an NSF fee, not an overdraft fee. You will be happy to hear that, as of September 20, 2022, we no longer charge NSF fees. A notice concerning the fee discontinuation was mailed to all customers on September 20, 2022.

Details related to overdrafts are disclosed in our Terms and Conditions for your Deposit Accounts (Deposit Agreement) and Personal Accounts Fee Schedule, both of which were mailed to you on September 20 and are available on our website at *******************. We encourage you to visit one of our banking centers or contact our customer service team and we would be happy to talk through these items with you in more detail.

Thank you for your loyalty as a customer. We hope to continue serving you in the future.

I know all about that, and am not really "happy to hear" about that and received the letter. I'm angry because the new update happened just days after you reversed my payment--so a lot of good that did for me. Because of you, my payment arrangement with ****** stopped & I had to figure out where to get $700 to pay the full balance in order to keep my electricity on! I still plan on switching to another financial institution. Your bank has lost every other person in my family as customers.

Completely wasted my time. I had to close my decreased fathers account and was told to come back the next day because 4:45pm was after there account verification closed. I was told if I came back everything would be set and they would call earlier in the day. The didn't call and I again was told to come back the next day. The tellers and managers were completely unprofessional and unapologetic for my inconvenience and their error.
