On 29 July, 2023, my daughter, *******, and I went to Victra (they represent *******) to trade in our phones. **** *. was our sales rep. Ryan indicated that my phone trade in was valued at $220.00. He also said he would order me an Otter Box at the cost of $64.95 and have it shipped directly to me. He said if I were to purchase a temporary protective case, he would throw it in for free. Thus, the ***** *** cost of $64.95 would be the only charge I would incur. Additionally, if I were to purchase the ******** Universal USB wall charger, he would take $20 off of that cost which would make it $15 net cost ($34.00 - $20.00 rounded up). However, when we saw our billing, my phone was only given credit of $100 vs $220 quoted. The "temporary" protective case was $44.99- $24.99 discount ($20.00 net charge) vs a "free" offer he quoted. Lastly, the Universal Charger which was offered for free but was charged to me at $34.99. In summary, I did not receive the amount quoted for my phone trade in thus was shorted $120.00. The equipment "deal" ended up costing me $54.99 out of pocket when it should have costed me $15.00 net. I have called and asked for refund for both the phone trade in ($120.00) and the equipment difference ($39.99) for a total of $159.99. I have called **** ** no less than 3 times, my daughter has gone to the store in person 1 times, and I have called 1 time asking for the manager..>I was transferred to ******* corporate. I filed a complaint with Verizon corporate. At this point I have not received the $159.99 credit to my account being asked. I asked that the BBB investigate this for my refund and also note to future customers to stay away from this Victra location.
