    5 years ago when Jerry A******** retired, Core Accounting and Cory J**** took over his business. I was pleased with his service, trusting him to properly file our taxes. This year when I went to drop off our tax forms in March, his office was empty and the business next door indicated that he was closed for business. I quickly found another tax preparer, who discovered several errors in our past taxes. Some caused us to pay too much, such as filing self employment when that was not the case, but sadly in 2020 there was a mistake that caused us to grossly underreport our income. This is going to cost us dearly in penalties and interest. I would recommend to anyone who has used Core Accounting to get their past filings audited by a qualified accountant.
