    I had an agreement with them to paint my house and they backed out at the last minute, so I am scrambling to find another contractor.

    Koop painting has done all that we can do on our part to help this client. The agreement was for us to come and paint his home after siding was installed and before they installed gutters, because we do not install gutters. We were working with the siding company to schedule this out and had a plan to complete the project. The project manager of the siding company changed their plan last second and installed the gutters without warning us. I informed the client of what happened and asked if someone else would be able to remove and reinstall gutters for us, because our company does not do gutters and it was not in our original agreement. I tried to get the siding company to remove the gutters for us but they were unwilling to continue working with this client, so we were unable to complete the agreement as stated. We would have been happy to complete the job without removing the gutters, but this customer was not okay with that. We don't accept deposits, so this client did not lose any money because of this. I would also like to add that this is the only project that we have backed out of since we opened for business.
    We hope he finds a company better suited for his needs.
