    5-6-24 creekmore came and installed a recirrculation pump and parts that were not needed. the pump never worked right from the time of install. I called them a couple weeks later and informed them of this. they said it would take a week to come in install another pump and I told them I would have to order one first. after not having much hot water for a couple of weeks I ordered and called another plumping company to install it earlier then creekmoore. the other company JM Plumbing came on 6-17-24 and installed the new unit. they called me to the basement and showed me the creekmoore installed the check value backwards and this is why the pump would not work properly to start with. I was shown this before they turned it around the correct way. I did not need a new pump after all and I would have had to pay them ***) and reinstall to change the pump back to orginal one. the pump was never bad to begin with and the check value caused all the problems. I called Steve at creekmore and ask to get part of the money back for poor service and cost. he informed me that he would not do this and was very uncooperative and settleing the error on thier part. then he also started changing his story on what I was told earlier on our conversations. not honest business and would never recommend this place to anyone. stay away for fraud and this is one of them!!

    We sent our
    plumber to install a recirculating pump (that the customer had ordered off the
    internet) to replace his old one as requested. 
    He called us back a couple of weeks later and said it was not
    working.  He never said it had not
    worked from the time of installation.  If
    it had not worked from the time of installation, as he is claiming now, why did
    he wait a couple of weeks to call as he states. 
    Our plumber installed the pump with the parts that it always takes to
    install a recirculating pump.  The tech
    did not use any parts that were not needed. 
    The parts listed on the work ticket are the normal parts to install the
    pump.
    When he did
    call back a couple of weeks after installation to say it was not working,  we offered to come out and check it at that
    time,  but he said no,  he had called the place he bought it from and
    they said it must be a bad pump and they would send a new one.  He did not let us come out at that time and
    check. If he had and there was a problem with our work, we would have corrected
    it at that time for no charge.  He called
    back about a week later saying the pump had arrived and would like to get on
    the schedule.  I informed him that we
    were booked up for a week and that I would schedule him for the first available
    day.  He was OK with that and I scheduled
    him for first job the following Wednesday. 
    When I called on his scheduled day to let him know we were on the way,
    he informed me that he had already had it taken care of.  He never mentioned that there was any problem
    with our work and did not call to cancel.
    Another week
    later he called and began telling me that my plumber had hooked the pump up
    wrong in the beginning and that he called another plumber.  He claimed that the other plumber installed
    the new pump and it still would not work. 
    He said the other plumber then claimed the check valve was installed
    backwards by our plumber.  He then told
    me how much he had to pay to have it fixed and that I needed to pay him for
    that bill.  He said we should pay the
    other plumber’s bill and give him the money he paid us back.  This sounded like someone trying to get free
    work.  Again I don’t know why he waited a
    week to call. When I started asking questions about this other plumber and
    trying to get some information he got angry and would not listen to what I was
    asking.  I tried telling him that I
    needed to look at what my tech had worked on. 
    I needed to get some information to find out the facts.  How do I know the other company did not put
    the check valve in backwards.  Why did
    they not check that before installing a whole new pump?  How do I know the pump was not bad. He would
    not answer questions or discuss this with me. 
    He said, I guess I will have to see you in court, and hung up.
    The licensed
    plumber that did this job has been with us for 12 years.  We have been in business for 76 years and
    always honor our warranty on work.  This
    has been the result of the customer not allowing us to return the first time to
    check what was going on.  It is very
    upsetting to us that after all our hard work over the years and striving to
    keep our good reputation, one person who would not wait a few days is able to
    ruin that by calling us a fraud.  We did
    nothing fraudulent.  We installed the
    customer’s pump as requested.  We offered
    to return when he first called, but were told not to as he was getting another
    new pump.  We never told him he needed a
    new pump.  We told him we could come back
    to see why it was not working.  He would
    not let us return until his new pump arrived that he chose to order without us
    first checking on the other pump.  Also
    he would not let us finish discussing the issue on the phone later.  He simply said, I guess I will have to see
    you in court and hung up.  Being called a
    fraud is just not true or fair.  We do
    not treat anyone that way.

    This customer is simply trying to smear our reputation.  First, he waited a couple of weeks to call as he states in his complaint.  Why wait a couple of weeks if something you had installed is not working?  Secondly, he then would not let us come out and check for the problem.  He said he called the place he bought the pump from and they were sending a new one.  Why were they sending a new one?  We had not even been allowed to go back to the job and check what was wrong.  Third, he scheduled to have the new pump installed, but when we called on that day he said, I already had that done ( he never said he had another plumber or that anything was wrong).  Then he calls weeks later and makes accusations about our work.  Fourth, he would not answer any questions about the other plumber or the accusations he was making.  He was just demanding money.  This seemed suspicious.   Lastly, he has gone on every platform and called us frauds and made untrue accusations.  We are extremely upset that after 76 years one person can make it his mission to ruin our reputation and we can do nothing about it.
