BUYER BEWARE - these people are absolute cons.
I signed a contract for a pool in September 2022 and paid over $**k before construction began. In November it was decided we needed to cancel the pool project. We worked out a contract with Premier Pools & Spas that stated they would give us our money back minus deposit once the pool sold at a discount to a new customer.
I received news that the pool was sold to a new customer on January 10. I was told I would have my refund once the financing clears from the new buyer and that this would take 1-2 weeks. After about 4 weeks of the sales person not having any updates on when I should expect my refund he turned me over to his manager "Tom" who has only spoken to me via text message and is mostly unresponsive. Every couple weeks I asked for an update and the answer was always the same - that they are waiting on financing to go through and I will get a refund in a week or two. Then eventually he just stopped responding to me. Until I suggested I should get an attorney in the matter.
Tom then let the mask slip and professed he doesn't have to give me a refund and can in fact force me into buying a pool. That was almost 3 weeks ago and Tom has gone silent since then. I called their franchise office and spoke to a "Victoria" who claimed they aren't culpable for how their franchisers conduct themselves but that they would call Tom and she will get back to me. That's been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back from her.
I am filing a lawsuit for a full refund plus damages and have full confidence in my attorneys to recover my losses. But I want to save future victims a lot of mess and tell you to stay away from Premier Pools & Spas.
I expect "Tom" or some other business owner to reply to this review with a horrible attempt at an explanation. Do not believe it - these people are liars. Simply read other reviews and you will see the pattern. Tom gets his money then he will ghost you. DO NOT get into business with them.
