    13,394.46 dollars received by Flint Hills Roofing Co. Check was cashed in on 11/26/24, roof replacement has not been completed.

    Business committed to a full scope of work for redecking and replacing my roof with impact resistant shingles paid by insurance. They verbally promised to get the work done by the end of Thanksgiving weekend, 12/1/24.
    Dispute: Owner of roofing company has been promising to finish work from 11/23/25. He was at my property in person two times. First, on 11/3/25, when he caused a reckless accident in front of my house while trying to deliver the wronggrade of shingles late in the evening with a trailer with no lights on it, and second time, when he promised to bring material in 30 Minutes so that his crew can go on working on 3/16/25. I have not seen him since then.
    When a roofer showed up on 3/14/25, two people worked for a day and a crew worked for two days after that. The shingles on the main house were removed. Noone could reach the owner and they did not have material to continue the work. All decking needed to be replaced. Only some got replaced, and the rest of the old decking got covered up with the vapor barrier and they put shingles on to cover the old decking over the garage. They created a hole in the garage ceiling by stepping on the drywall. They left the house exposed to the elements since 3/16/25.
    Owner of Flint Hills Roofing Co. has not been responding to phone calls or emails.
    I think he might have had good intentions originally and helped with the insurance process, which I am grateful for, but he has been promising a resolution and completion every time we talked, then nothing came of it. I have over 24 unsuccessful phone calls, I have left messages and sent 15 emails asking for completion. He answered 7 times and he kept promising the work getting done every single time using an excuse.

    Amount of money paid out to business from Foremost Insurance Company: $25,461.05
    Business committed to provide: Replace roof (did provide), replace gutter guards that crew had thrown away (did not provide), replace siding on all four walls of dwelling with paint (did not provide).
    Nature of dispute: Flint Hills Roofing Co. contracted with our home owner's insurance, Foremost, to provide replacement of roof and siding on our physical home dwelling. Flint Hills Roofing Co. did replace roof of dwelling, but started on siding replacement and left job incomplete on all four walls including did not paint. Company billed Foremost insurance claiming that job was complete. Foremost has released final amount of insurance money for depreciation and believed the job to be complete.
    Has business tried to resolve problem: Business owner ***** **** has claimed multiple times via phone that he will send a crew to complete the job. This has been an ongoing claim since the original claim was opened with Foremost on 30 April 2024. Job has still not been complete as of 11 March 2025.
    This issue does not involve advertising. It is an insurance fraud issue.

     I was also notified that ***** is not certified roofer that he is just a salesman. That’s why I ultimately made that request. ***** told me himself that he is not a roofer. Prople have reached out and have been apologetic before as you have seen in the above attachment. I am requesting that Tyler Sims contact me personally to set up an appointment and have this matter resolved before I reply with a satisfactory response.****** or flint hills since September 23rd 2024. i have continued to leave messages and no reply. I am requesting that this business send a licensed roofer to assess the damages and repair the damages.I have attached photo images of all interactions. thank you for your time.

    This is Tyler Sims the owner of Flint Hills roofing this is the first time I’m hearing about this. I believe that this was a **** ***** job that works for me. Needless to say the repairs need to be fixed. I agree ***** must’ve took it as an insult because he is our guy that is certified in Tesla roofing and he might’ve felt his ego was damaged a little bit, I say that with transparency, needless to say regardless to say, I will come down there personally or I’ll send one of my main guys out there to take care of this and look at it and fix it. Apologize that you had to go to the Better Business Bureau, but I want to make this right with you and I apologize that you’re having a bad taste in your mouth so I’m sorry genuinely say that.

    May 2024 i signed a contract to have them fix my roof. They quote 62000. Said they could get the insurance company to pay that plus more for other damages. I just want my roof fixed. Insurance will only pay 18000. In Sept12. I paid them 5000. To start the job. They said they would start that tues. Now they said i need decking. They never checked the roof. It has it. 10.12 ,11.12. And 11.19 was the days they were to deliver the shingles and start working. Nope. Now they say it needs metal trim added to cost. And it 42000. Now to do the roof. I want my money back. It's been raining and it's leaking in my house and more damage to the interior. They are refusing to give my money back. I have received other estimates that was the price the insurance quoted. I never received a signed copy of the contract.

    I don’t know how many times I have to write this, but the lady has paid us $5000. I have $13,000 in materials. I have a contract we’re supposed to do the roof obviously read the contract and she’s doing a money grab because my company got a ton of it bought like $42,000 now she’s trying to do money grab because she has someone else she can do it for 18,000. I’ve sent three of these now you guys your computer systems not working I don’t know

    I have addressed this with ***** and this is being taken care of the shingles are being delivered Friday and we’re roofing one week from Monday. Already talked to *****. Very good man. There’s a communication error going on, but his order is already been put in and processed the shingles will be there Friday and a week from Monday. We will proceed to roof the house. 

    I value ***** and the 30 minute conversation we had yesterday .

    The Flint Hills Roofing Company has failed to provide myself and my insurance company (Allstate) with required documentation, i.e. completion date of work and materials used to reroof my home.

    We spoke to the consumer twice last week. We sent the requested invoice and material specs to fill out warranty for shingles.
