      Truett roofing was supposed to install kickout flashing, so when it rained the water off the roof would drain into the gutter instead of splashing down the siding. I think the date of service was June 23rd. The invoice is dated June 29th in the amount of the agreed price of $250.00. The invoice number is 4381. My check cleared the bank July 12th.

      After we got heavy rain we found their installation of the kickout flashing was not working. We got up on the roof and realized Truett didn't really install kickout flashing. The installation was terrible. They just cut and bended metal to make their own kickout flashing and it wasn't right.

      I've enclosed pictures of what they installed and what kickout flashing is supposed to look like. Their kickout flashing is laying on a brown table in the picture. The new kickout flashing we had another company install is being held in the pictures.

      I am sorry you are unhappy with the  kick out flashing we used. I appreciate you showing the two options for kick out flashings. The kick out flashing we installed is 4 inches tall by 4 inches wide and 8 inches long. The reason we don't use the one you used is because its only 2 inches tall and wont protect ice damage in the winter.

      The kickout flashing that was installed in place of the flashing installed by Truett is not 2” tall. Either the flashing from Truett was wrong or it was installed incorrectly. 

      The new flashing that was installed after the flashing from Truett was removed solved our problem. The rain is not draining down the siding on the fireplace now.
