Deck to be built by May 4, 2024. We gave the deposit of $8,000 on February 21, 2024. After several attempts and months to get them to complete our deck, we ask for our money back. It has now been over 2 weeks and the owner still hasn't given us our money back.

The client was made aware of a delay in the building process due to a broken rib that I suffered. Due to the injury, I couldn't work for 6 weeks. I communicated with the client with updates about the delay. She said it was no problem and there was no rush. I had dumpster delivered and had my crew on the way to start the tear out. At that point I was sent a text saying they didn't want to move forward. The empty dumpster was removed the following Monday and all materials were returned.

I am rejecting this response because: it has been almost a month that he "supposedly" returned the material June 25, we still have to refund for the 8000 dollars ? Don't understand what is the hold up!

    Sincerely,
