  I bought a hot tub cover as a gift for Christmas, I had tried to find this specific cover and couldn't. I called and spoke with Jessica at Spa Builders and she was great, had it in stock and picked it up the same day.
  Great customer Service, hard to find these days.

  I purchased a spa from this business with regret due to the following:
  1. Questionable quality control (QC): Hot tub purchased brand new from the Kentucky location but leaked from the start due to a factory defect.
  2. Highly questionable company policies: Business will send a "technician" only after customer is billed $150.00 IN ADVANCE, and this price may have increased. Do not expect a specific date/time of the "tech's" visit, a receipt, nor details of the diagnosis. Paying this fee ONLY means that they will send a technician to the site and nothing more. Any repair requires a second visit and a second payment in advance of $150.00.
  3. One red flag after another: Prepare for scripted responses to any issue. For examples, see responses of the business to the NEGATIVE customer reviews posted below. Staff communicative tendencies reflect a manipulative approach to doing business and an unparalleled commitment to deflecting/minimizing customer expenses/concerns. Requesting a copy of the receipt from the "tech's" visit revealed no diagnosis at all. The receipt contained falsified information and no information about the identity of the "tech." Be prepared for the scripted response that your negative experience is isolated, or the company has recently fired the "tech," or recently fired the person answering the phone, or recently changed something, or similar scapegoating tactics. DO NOT prepare for Spa Builders of Kentucky to hold itself accountable under any circumstance, large or small, because you will have prepared for nothing.
  4. "That's how they getcha"- When in doubt, Spa Builders of Kentucky will tell you that your pump is bad. Maybe they paper shuffle their way out of honoring the warranty, maybe not. Upon further investigation, you might even learn that the pump is fine and that the "tech" restricted flow to the pump by shutting off the valve. Wait, what was that tech's name again?
  No stars for these shady practices, but it is required to post.

  We are sorry that you have not had an experience that you liked with our company. We are also sorry that you had an issue with your spa and that it was built not up to your standards, but we can only do what the vendor asks of us. There is a trip charge/service fee that will be applied when we have to come to your home for services that is not a one time fee, it is a fee that will be applied anytime you have us out as they do not pay us to fix your spa, it is just the parts that are covered so we have to pay our employees for their time. I am pretty sure that most companies charges for them to come out and service items that were purchased, this is not anything new for a trip charge/service charge to be asked of customers (been around for years!)
  Our technicians were on your property and you did not like the answers they gave you and proceeded to curse them out and tell them they were not allowed on your property. In responce to your claim of our office staff having a script, there are not prescript answers given to our customers, it is all done on a one by one basis (depending on their situation). Our office staff works hard to reply to every customer that has a ticket and you were called about what occurred when the tech was out there. Once again the answers may not have been what you were looking for but we have to work with the vendors as well to make sure we are compliant with their warranty policies.
  Once again we have not been out to do anything with your spa since October 2022, so not sure why you are putting negative comment on here this far out from a service. If you feel that this was something else that needs to be discussed we would gladly talk with you about this situation.

  Hands down the best product buying experience. Jessi went above and beyond to assist. This was an emergency purchase for us and Jessi treated it with urgency. From taking the time to send pictures and actual videos to discussing the best options to buy for what we intended to use it for. His knowledge is top notch. Family-owned small-town business is exactly Jessi. I can say that we have never had the pleasure of doing business with a small-town family-owned hot tub company, that was honest and just good people. Zero pressure to buy and no special extra deals to make it better to buy. Thats why he got our business. He did everything he said. Delivery on time and communicated the entire step of the way. Jessi is a true gem and he has our business moving forward with every new house that needs a hot tub or replaced. No matter where you are located. He makes the buying process smooth and easy. The huge bonus for us was he had them in stock ready for delivery. I can say without hesitation after looking frantically not only was he the only place with them in stock but, he was the only one not pushing to close a sale. I appreciated his blunt and honest attitude. He never even mentioned he was the owner and when later found out I was shocked that he was so hands on to ensure this was handled for us because of the urgent need. Thats a true small-town family-owned business. He went above and beyond for us and had never even met us. I did read some review before making the final decision and I determined this. If someone's had a negative experience with him its warranted in some ways. Best put they can't please everyone. However, we are over the moon pleased and will return.
