I hired Larry Coffey to remodel my house and build a new sunroom. He made many mistakes. He didn’t pull a building permit to build my sunroom and refused to move my main power line away from the roof of the sunroom. I had to hire an electrician to move my electrical line to prevent a fire. The main power line to the house was inches away from laying on my roof not mention he build the wall of the sunroom so close to the main electrical box it couldn’t be opened by the electric company to shut off in the event of an emergency. The sunroom roof leaked and I had leaks coming in under the sunroom walls. I had to have the roof repaired after having water roll down my walls as he didn’t have it flashed correctly. I had to have all the electrical work completely redone throughout the house that he had done. He made a lot of other major mistakes. I have had to pay other contractors and electricians to come in and repair or redo work he did. My drywall work he did looks like something a 2 year old child finished. He disappeared for weeks and left me with a complete mess in my kitchen knowing my kitchen cabinets would be delivered and installed. One excuse after another. Worst of all he remolded a bathroom for me and put in a tile stand up shower which is leaking through the shower pan that was improperly installed. He also improperly installed the sewer gas pipes under the toilet and shower. My tiles are all unevenly laid and cut, plus I have grout falling out everywhere. I have an estimate of $10K to tear out his work and replace the tile pans and all the tile to stop the leak. He also took down stairs and replaced railing leaving a chunk of metal in the wall and tried to cover it up with wall plaster and painted over it. I had to hire someone to come in and remove it. The list goes on and on. I have nails coming up out of my oak steps. I had to hire a painter to come in and repaint walls and ceilings and correct drywall work. I question if he’s licensed. Dishonest

***** did work for my husband and I on our basement- he did plumbing and made one room into a bathroom, put up two closet doors, worked on our kitchen downstairs, installed a new tub in our bathroom for a total of $40,000.00. I’m selling my home and have requested an invoice, a statement of everything his company has completed- and he is refusing to send me details of what he did so the new buyers can see. I’ve reached out to him a total of 17 times, left three voicemails. He called me back last week stating he would get an itemized statement ready for me. He has since blocked my number. Please help me. I cannot sell my home without this documentation. Also, the work he did was terrible quality.
