    On November 3, 2021, I purchased a customized desk from JJwoodfurnishings on **** (Order # ************ It cost $1,420.40. On January 7, 2022: The order arrived damaged. ****'s policy mandates working it out with the seller first before filing a complaint with them.

    As such, on March 14 I reached out to JJwoodfurnishings on ****. I explained the desk damage and provided pictures. On March 15 JJ responds with a sincere apology that includes, “I can certainly offer you a full refund and I will arrange for a pickup at my expense.” March 19, I reached out letting them know the desk was packaged and ready to go. March 21 JJ responds asking for email address to send the labels. March 21, I respond (accidentally!) with my mailing address (unfortunately from a quick misread). April 17, I realize I never heard back from JJ and recheck the messages to find my mistake and send my email address. I have not heard from him since.

    I then wrote **** to explain the situation (request #******** only for them to explain I'm past the window to open a case through them. I now must only work through JJ. This seemed like a loophole for ****, so I filed a BBB complaint with **** **** **** **** ********* * ********** but it concluded that the issue must be worked out through the company who sold me the product.

    If this is truly the case, I would sincerely appreciate the support in helping facilitate a conversation with Julio at JJ. He seemed very reasonable, apologetic and willing to help, until Esty's buyer protection window disappeared and then I was ghosted. I am now out $1,400+ that I could desperately use and have a broken desk (that even arrived broken!) in the original packaging out in my garage collecting dust. Your help is greatly appreciated!
