On August 20, 2024, I noticed that my vehicle had sustained damage. The radio antenna was broken off from the top of my vehicle and was missing. I had initially believed the damage occurred as a direct result of the washing process on August 16, 2024 at the Glasgow Cheetah Clean.
On August 20, 2024, I filed a report at the Glasgow location Cheetah Clean. Later that day, the General Manager at the time ***** ****** texted me a picture showing that the antenna was already damaged before the wash had occurred.
I had texted ***** again with other dates to be reviewed. ***** responded that he would check into those dates. On September 25, 2024, one month after last hearing from *****, I reached out to him. He responded that he is no longer with Cheetah Clean and apologized that nothing has been resolved. ***** recommended that I may want to contact the car wash to find a resolution.
On October 17, 2024, I emailed the customer support email address that is on the Cheetah Clean website. In the email, I had the above information and included that I would like them to check into the other dates to see if the damage to my vehicle happened then. I have yet to receive a response.
On October 28, 2024, I texted ****** who is the customer service employee who responds to text to Cheetah Clean. I had relayed that my issue has still not been resolved. ****** said that the information would be passed onto the team and have them reach out to me. I have yet to receive a response.
My request is for Cheetah Clean to look into video recordings of the other possible dates to determine if damage was done to my vehicle then, but no one in the business will respond to my inquiries. After three months of this, I am seeking the BBB assistance. If damage was done by Cheetah Clean's car wash, I would like them to pay for the repairs.Business Response

The claim was originally denied the day it was filed, as camera footage showed the antenna was damaged prior to entering the wash. On November 15th, we reached back out to the customer to officially deny the claim and explain the rationale. Since it was clear from the camera the antenna was damaged prior to going through our car wash, we did not believe any further action was necessary.Initial Complaint

I purchased vouchers from Waterworks auto wash in Bowling Green, KY. The company was sold to Cheetah auto wash. I called Cheetah corporate HQ, and they approved for me to use my remaining vouchers. Since I’m a retired military veteran, I travel. Kentucky is where I was born, so I purchased a summer home in Ky and only spend 2- 3 months in Ky yearly.
I had approximately 13 vouchers, and Cheetah always accepted them. The last time I used a voucher was on May 6, 2024. They are a very good company and do professional work. The only issue I’ve ever had was back in May, they felled to properly clean and my trunk, and I did call and complained. I left Ky back in May, and returned this month, September 22. I stopped by Cheetah to use a voucher; however, I was informed by Cheetah corporate (270-842-0286), who also spoke with the Regional manager, that they will no longer accept vouchers because of the time length from when they purchased Water works. They told me they would contact the owner and see if the owner will provide an acceptation to policy and a decision to accept my vouchers. But, they haven’t called back!
Anyway, the reason they should accept my remaining vouchers, valued at $162.00 is because I don’t live in KY and only spend limited time in my summer home. If they were going to stop honoring vouchers, they should have informed me during my other washings, especially when I visited them on May 6, 2024. With the informed decision, I could have gifted or sold the vouchers to a family member who lives in Ky.
I didn’t know Water works was selling to Cheetah or I would have approached Water works for a resolution. As I stated, I only visit Ky sporadically. I appreciated Cheetah initially honoring the vouchers, but it’s not fair or good business to make me a funding escape goat.
Cheetah must remain professional and honor my vouchers. Why should I provide capital to a company, who makes thousands/millions of profits? How would it hurt them to honor my vouchers?Initial Complaint

I am rejecting this response because:They have responded, but they are refusing to give me my full credit and after I got off the phone with him, everything was supposed to be good but now I’m getting an email saying he wants full card numbers and CVC numbers and I’m not giving him all that information becausehe told me he would credit the cards that were used and I confirm those numbers with him so he’s just playing games
Sincerely,

Hello **** *********
Thank you for reaching out to us and letting this situation be known. We are trying to investigate on our end what has happened with the $16 charge that was seen on February 20th. To be able to resolve this matter, we will need to receive the last 4 digits on the credit card used to purchase the $16 wash. Once we receive this we will hopefully be able to come to a resolution and make this matter right.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention and we look forward to hearing back from you!
Best,

On 10/31/2023 i took my car to cheetah clean for a car wash. I realized afterwards that it busted/ripped the mirror off of my car. They have refused to help repair my vehicle in any way, and accept no responsibility for the damage done. I have been in contact several times to try to rectify the situation and have had no success at all. The repair is only $200. I have 5 young children and this is a major safety concern for me. Apparently it is not for them... Please helpInitial Complaint

***** ****to start with, My foot was on the brake because your stop light said stop. I waited 4-5 seconds for it to say go! Then started the car, which took 3-4 seconds. The car behind me was too close, as an employee there told me. I didn’t go back to their location to get cash for the gift certificate at any time, so how could I have left mad.I called the main office in bowling green several weeks later asking for reimbursement and didn’t get loud or mad. Check your recording. Seems like you will say or do anything to cover your mistake.

We went through our complete in-house claims process and performed a thorough review including watching video. It was plain to see that the customer totally stopped at the end of the tunnel with their foot on the brake refusing to move causing the accident by the car behind them colliding into their back bumper causing damage to both vehicles.
We can provide you the video if you request.
On the day that the customer contacted the BBB, he came to our location and tried to cash in two giftcards that he had received as gifts demanding that we exchange them for their cash value. We explained to him that this was against our policy and that we could not meet his request. We encouraged him to use those gift cards and to give us an opportunity to show him our quality wash. He was still angry about the accident that he caused and furthermore angry about us not taking his gift cards out and proceeded to leave angry and contacting you, the BBB.
I would be more than happy to give *** ***** the refund for the wash he got on October 3rd, 2022. And we will offer him free carwash if he decides to come back to our location again.** *******

I was signed up on a monthly payment plan without my knowledge. I never approved my card to be charged for future uses.
