    We hired Mr Garcia to finish a part of our basement and part of that was placing blinds to two windows in there. After drilling holes and damage to the wall here declared that he wasn’t going to be able to finish the work because he was unaware of what was under the wall. We asked for the wall to be repaired to which he replied he didn’t have to do it as he was doing us a favour to begin with. He mentioned he has already started another commercial job elsewhere and he couldn’t spare the time. This is after we had paid Mr Garcia in full. Several attempts to have him come back and at least repair the damage he caused have all been in vain. We’re beyond frustrated and disappointed in how he has chosen to move forward.

    My customers, *** *** **** ***** have claimed that I, Eduardo Garcia was hired to complete part of their basement including putting up two blinds for their basement windows. This statement is false.
    The customers have signed a contract clearly stating every detail and description of the job to be done in the basement. There is no mention of blinds anywhere in the contract at all, even the one updated with changes the customer made along the way. I will also note there was no verbal agreement regarding the blinds either.
    If there is any confusion regarding any services that E. Garcia Painting was obligated to do please call so I can once again explain it to you.
    It was clear that **** **** did not respect my time or services as she had expected me to do several services not mentioned in the contract for free.
    At E.Garcia Painting we greatly value the satisfaction of our customers. We completed 3 services( installation of a mirror, tv mount, and door stopper) as a courtesy to the customer in an attempt to go above and beyond for our customers.
    The blinds were another attempt to add additional services, that were again not included in any agreement whatsoever.
    While the customer was so rudely making these demands for their blinds to be done immediately, I was busy trying to resolve the bounced check the customer had given to me. Which resulted in consequences that negatively affected my business in many ways.
    The customer mentioned that they had paid in full. This was only after their returned check and 6 days after the payment was due.
    The ‘several attempts’ the customer claimed they made were more like demands for me to do a service that I had absolutely no obligation to complete, made all within a short less than a 24-hour period.


    Although hanging blinds is not a service E.Garcia Painting would typically offer, If the customer can provide any documentation regarding an obligation for my company to hang mentioned blinds. We would gladly do so.
