    In May of this year, we purchased a bottle of a premium bourbon, "Toast" for just over $40. We purchased it during a trip to *********** *** We did not open it until returning to Louisville. Upon sampling it, we were very disappointed. The product tasted very diluted and weak. It did not have the depth of flavor and bite we are accustomed to with other Jim Beam bourbons. When I submitted a complaint to the company, I received a invitation to share more information about the lot number and other particulars. I appreciated the timely response to my complaint. However, I am very disappointed about the final response below: Hello *****, Thank you for your response and for providing those additional details. They are very helpful. We consistently and intensively review our portfolio to guarantee consumers receive quality products focused on flavor, convenience, premiumization and value. Since we are always trying to bring our consumers innovative and unique products, we especially appreciate hearing your feedback. We have heard from many valued members of our ***** ****** family sharing how much they enjoy Toast, but we understand that everyone has a personal taste experience. Your interest in our brand does not go unnoticed. In honor of that, if you purchase another Beam Suntory product of similar monetary value and reply with the amount you paid or copy of your receipt, I'm happy to provide a reimbursement for the retail shelf price. Sincerely, ********* ***** ******® Customer Care Representative I have never heard of a company requiring me to purchase yet another product when I am complaining about the quality of another. I am very disappointed. Though they admit different customers may have different taste, they discounted by opinion that the product is weak and diluted.
