I am writing to formally request an investigation into the bidding practices observed during the 4/17/25 Interstate Auction and Realty Furnishings Auction. Specifically, the authenticity of the bidder’s account, pattern of bidding history, and specific activity on 4/17/25 for the lot numbers listed.

Early in the week, it became apparent there was an error with the lots listed for the 4/17/25 auctions; and subsequently the 4/19/25 auction as well. Most items only permitted bidders to bid the posted amount, resulting in 90% of the items closing with zero bidders. However, for a brief period, a few items were posted without the retail or auction house's cost listed, allowing me to place bids. Shortly after, these items switched to requiring bids at the retail or actual cost, except for a few items that switched after additional bids were placed.

I have photographic evidence showing I was winning several items until the final moments when I can only assume a party involved in the auction began entering retail or cost bids on all of my items. This bidder targeted only the items I was bidding on, never the exact posting with no bidders, which is suspicious. Furthermore, the “company plant” was able to bid an amount less than the posted next required bid to "win" an item. Again, I have photographic proof that average bidders were not permitted by the software to do this as when attempting the lesser amount was rejected by the system. This discrepancy is a clear indicator of fraudulent activity.

According to the Kentucky Revised Statutes, Chapter 330, auction houses in Kentucky are required to adhere to strict regulations and ethical standards to ensure fair and transparent practices. Given the evidence of unethical practices and fraud, I request that the items I fairly bid on be sold to me at my bid price ($339.00).

In Kentucky—and throughout the United States—all auctions are conducted “with reserve” unless explicitly advertised as “absolute.” As disclosed in our terms and fully compliant with KRS Chapter 330, the auction company reserves the right to place bids on behalf of the reserve amount.  We are not going to review individual bid histories to determine whether the complainant was outbid by a starting bid or another bidder, it doesn't make any difference. What is clear is that she was outbid and did not win the items.
The complainant is now demanding we sell her over $9,000 worth of brand-new furniture for $339, including a king-size Ashley bedroom suite she bid $6 on. Yes—six dollars. This is not how auctions work. Winning requires being the highest bidder, and she was not.
It is not fraud to enforce a reserve price. It is not unethical to have a reserve price. No laws were broken, no misleading practices occurred, and the idea that we should sell thousands in merchandise for a few dollars is entirely without merit.

******* cards are fake. I took them to two professional card businesses, they both said there fake
Nothing was said at the auction of them being fake
They said grade 10 collectible cards
    ******* custom gold itsaid

The cards referenced are not "fake" but are officially licensed custom pokemon cards.  While these are not Pokemon cards that are used in the card game, they are licensed Pokemon cards with a gold covering.  The listing of the item clearly states the item is custom.  These cards are available at any major retailer, they are not fake, just custom which is how they were sold.

Hibid auctions from Kentucky ************************************************************************ sold and shipped me a FAKE Louis Vuitton Handbag. The auction stated genuine.

Just received this handbag and it is a complete FAKE!!!

Your cheap logo isn't sewn onto the bag and the serial # is a separate rectangular piece of leather (not stamped on the back of the Luis emblem!) Pictures attached.

The same Trouville purse with the authentic logo and serial is attached.

I bought a sectional, recliner, and a round table that came with a pedestal and 4 chairs. The sectional, recliner, table top and 6 chairs was loaded by them. I called and asked for my pedestal to be shipped because it’s a pretty long drive for me to make and it was their mistake. I gave them my current address and they said it would be shipped that day. I offered to send the other two chairs back if they would pay for it but they told me to just keep them. I waited two weeks and called them again. I was told it was not shipped but they would ship it. I waited again and called them. They had mailed it to the wrong address and after reading the notes and seeing it was the wrong address he had an attitude and cussed at me. I asked if it would be shipped today to the correct address and I was told “ I don’t give * *****” We have bought many things from them over the years but after this we will never return! Now the table I bought does not have a pedestal and I’m out what I spent.

    Business Response

    Hello,

The customer purchased items at auction on 07/07/2022 and picked them up 7/11/22.  Per the terms and conditions of the auction, items are to be checked off by the customer before leaving the premises. The customer contacted us on 09/05/2022 about a possible missing piece to a table.

Despite our terms and conditions not requiring us to act, we paid for and ordered a piece to satisfy the customer.  This was sent to the address on file, but the customer had moved.

After making contact again, the customer became extremely unruly, and made multiple unbecoming threats and accusations.

At this point, we do not wish to do any future business, or have any future contact with this customer.
