** ****** was told during move out walk through that the bedroom and kitchen required repainting and broken blinds would need to be replaced.  That is what the security deposit is there to cover.  Passing along the costs charged by our maintenance guys, she was charged $150 for cleaning, $200 for blinds/labor to install and $700 for repainting of walls, doors, and trim in those 2 rooms.  (Paint, supplies, and labor).  She was refunded $350.00 out of her $1400.00 security deposit that we held.  She accepted the payment and our bill pay system shows she received it.  House was freshly remodeled when she moved in with new blinds and new paint.  A roof leak was repaired while she lived there and a water damage stain remained on the ceiling that she wasn't charged for.
