I purchased a refurbished **** desk top computer which Blair Tech offered on ****** which was sold with a warranty. The computer was not properly refurbished it would not accept any command to allow a typed in password or any letter. I made numerous calls and emails to Blair to get support to fix the problem but every request for help was ignored or answered with a request to buy more products. I am an 80 year old senior and feel like this company has used me due to my disability. The order was paid for on 07/17/23. The refurbished computer was shipped without a packing list or order number and they have been continually malicious by making it overwhelming to resolve any warrantyBusiness Response

Buyer purchased through ****** a refurbished **** desktop
pc, monitor, and keyboard/mouse on 7/17/23. This came with a 90-day warranty. We
supply a “User Guide” with every order we ship, complete with instructions on
how to hook up the monitor. He contacted us on 7/19/23 because he didn’t know
how to use his monitor, stating: “The item has arrived, but it does
not have an instruction manual on how to use the monitor." If he had looked inside the plastic bag that
was shipped with his order, he would have found the User Guide and all cords
provided. We replied to his message on
7/19/23 (within 16 minutes) and asked him to let us know what assistance he needed. He never replied to our message, but instead
opened a Return Request through ******. He received a free label from ****** on
7/19/23 (UPS #******************) but never bothered to return the items
and never sent us any more messages. We sincerely apologize for his issues sand we
tried to help, but he never replied with any more messages. All he has to do is use the free return label,
and we will issue a refund when all the items are returned to us. If he still wants to keep the items, he must
contact us through ****** and we will help in any way we can.Initial Complaint

*** ****** purchased a pc package through ******* on 4/3/23. He had trouble connecting the monitor to the pc saying the monitor had no signal. However, he turned the tower on and it came on. We shipped him a replacement HDMI cable and displayport adapter on 5/2/23, just to make sure the problem was resolved. We have not heard from him since he received these items on 5/4/23. Apparently, he filed this case prematurely before he received the items. We feel this case was totally unnecessary. We did not "lie" as he claims and he could have returned the item for a full refund if he had chosen.Initial Complaint

Purchased a refurbished PC from ***** Direct which was sent out by their distributor Blair Technologies on December 14 2022 for $197.56. Product was poorly packaged and damaged when delivered. Contacted them for a return and followed their instructions for doing so. This includes pictures of damaged product and packaging and was given a email with a return ups label on January 5th with a delivery confirmation on January 10 2023. This was well within the 30 day return policy which was January 20th 2023. I've contacted them since then and received no response or refund.Business Response

We received *** ******* returned items and immediately contacted ***** Direct as they are the ones who actually refund the buyer. This complaint should be directed to ***** Direct - not us. ***** Direct collects all money and issues all refunds. Once we received the returned items, we immediately informed ***** Direct that they can issue a full refund to you. Ask them about your Credit Memo which was sent to them on 1/16/2023. Please withdraw this case against us because we did nothing wrong.Customer Answer

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However I have been contacting ***** Direct for the past few weeks with no response regarding this matter. Blair Technologies is ***** Directs authorized vendor and who I received the package from in this condition.

So I bought a ** ******* ***** Desktop Computer PC With Custom RGB Lighting, ***** Quad Core i5, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, WI-FI, Windows 10 Pro, NEW 24” Monitor, RGB Keyboard + Mouse and Speaker Bundle (Renewed)
So I ordered this from ******* on a Cyber Monday sale and the price was 416.75. They said that it would be delivered by December 1st, yet it wasn’t delivered at my front door even though it said it was delivered. I waited a 2 days before I called ******* customer service. I talked to them and they said they will reach out to the company. So we got an email basically threatening to turn off and refuse to refund my package if they “found” my package anywhere on the property. What I don’t understand is how could they “find” a package that wasn’t delivered.Business Response

We shipped this order on 11/29/22 via ***** #************ - shown as delivered to your address at ** ***** **** ******* ****** *** ***** on 12/1/22 at 6:11 P.M. This address was provided to us in your order from *******. Our response to you was not a threat. Often, when a buyer claims non-receipt, we cancel the product key associated with that pc so that the ******* Operating System cannot be accessed by someone other than the buyer. This product key has not been canceled in this case. We also asked if you wanted us to open a ***** claim for this order. Instead, you decided to go straight to BBB before we can resolve this for you through *******. The ***** tracking shows it was delivered to your address on December 1, and ***** even captured a photo of the box delivered to your front door.Initial Complaint

I purchased a computer through *********** from this company on 6/30/22 and it was delivered on 7/8/22. I was unable to set up the computer until the beginning of October and from then on, I have had issues with the computer. At first the fan made a loud noise, but I was able to resolve that. Then the computer began giving me the "blue screen" whenever windows loaded. I started emailing with their technical support on 11/17/22 and went through all the trouble shooting they advised and still the computer was in a constant state of booting and then the blue screen. My last email on 11/22/22 I was advised to buy a new hard drive from amazon. This computer lasted less than 2 months from setup and less than 5 from delivery.Business Response

This is a ******* order from 6/30/22 - over 5 months old. ******* clearly stated that it had a 90-day warranty which expired in September. According to your complaint, you let the pc sit for almost 4 months. You should have checked it out upon receipt and we would have been happy to help resolve this within the 90-day warranty. If you purchased an extended warranty from *******, please reach out to that company. We are always happy to provide technical support even after the warranty period has expired. Thanks.Initial Complaint

I explained to them that I did not sign for the package in which they expect ally said that I needed to sign for it. I reported it to ***** and they told me that the company needs to file a claim so they can get there money back. The company refuses to send me back there money.Business Response

This buyer is an ****** customer and buyer's issue should be handled by ******. We shipped buyer's order on 8/29/2022 via ***** #************ - it was delivered to buyer's home address on 9/1/22 at 11:11 A.M. , AND Signed for by a person at that address. We have a signature of receipt of this package. Buyer filed a claim with ****** and ****** denied their claim because tracking shows it was delivered to the proper address and a signature was received. Since buyer is an ****** customer, ****** would be the one to grant the buyer a refund - not us. We filed a claim with ***** - and it was denied because of the signature received and delivered to the correct address. Buyer's only recourse is to reach out to neighbors to see if anyone received the package, contact ****** again and request a refund, or file a Police Report for a stolen item. We sincerely apologize but we cannot help at this time, since this shows as delivered and signed for. at buyer's exact address. Thanks.Initial Complaint

I bought a desktop computer from them back in June and everything was going well for 2 months until my screen started to have lines through the screen at random times. I let them know and they weren't any help at all, and insisted that it was probably a faulty cable. After purchasing a new one, it still had the same issue. This was supposed to come with a 90 day warranty which would be the 22nd of this month. I do find it strange that less than 2 weeks away from the warranty ending, that they don't want to do anything about it since it'll officially be off of warranty. I wish I would've done a little bit of research about the company before my purchase because you would see several reviews discussing there horrible customer service, and how there products "actually" are.Business Response

*** ****** purchased on 6/24/22 and had a 90-day warranty on his order. He received a Dell desktop, 22" monitor, keyboard, mouse, Bluetooth and Wifi Adapters all for the discounted price of $147.97. He contacted us on 8/25/22 complaining about lines in his monitor. We never head from him again until 9/14/22 regarding the same issue. We asked him to take a picture of what he was seeing so that we could properly diagnose the issue and hopefully resolve it. He did not provide a picture, instead he said he would just keep the monitor. Sometimes problems with monitors can easily be solved with an adjustment. We would have offered a replacement but he didn't give us a chance. He resorted to opening this BBB case instead of aiding us in providing a solution. We have great Customer Service and many thousands of satisfied customers.
